I feel confident in my ability to run my own small therapy practice. I intentionally keep my caseload limited, and I continue to see three clients through Open Path because I believe people without adequate insurance should still be able to receive therapy at a reduced rate. I appreciate Headway because it helped me become credentialed and establish my practice. The woman who first contacted me was truly wonderful and helped me complete all the necessary steps, including navigating CAQH, which can feel overwhelming at first. My one frustration is that Headway recruiters continue contacting me through LinkedIn even though I am already a Headway provider. I cannot simply reply to let them know this; the only option offered is to schedule an appointment, which I have no reason to do. I wish recruiters would check whether someone is already affiliated with Headway before reaching out. The original representative who contacted me had clearly done that research and knew that I was not yet with Headway. I hope Headway will encourage its recruitment consultants to follow the same thoughtful approach.
