Overall, our group practice interactions with Headway has been positive. They have made many good changes since we started working with them a few years ago. However, as they have grown and gone into new areas, their identified priorities don't always align with ours. I imagine that the majority of their customers are individual clinicians who have different needs than group practices, which makes sense why they do what they do. We just don't always need or want what they are working on. I hope they continue to emphasize the insurance and billing aspects which is what we need and focus less on being an AI, EHR, payroll, marketing/advertising, website, auditing, scheduling, televideo, continuing education conglomerate. A Swiss Army knife has many tools but none of them are as good as the single tool designed for a specific purpose.

There was a technical glitch in their program which had me wasting an hour trying to fix it with their AI Bot. Ultimately, the Bot couldn't do it, so I finally requested an "associate" (real human) to contact me through email, and it was eventually fixed. It is very frustrating dealing with Headway when there is a problem as they have NO LIVE PEOPLE to speak to. They only have online customer service, and it often takes a lot of time and aggravation to get things fixed which could be done much quicker and smoother if they would have live people to speak to. Aside from this issue (which is major) they generally do a good job with billing for insurance and paying us on time, so I do appreciate that.

I hear from them often, but when I attempt to use their service there is always some issue with my account that prevents me from making my appts, contacting providers, etc. It would be so much easier if once your info was entered it stayed entered.

When you join headway, you’re under the impression that you will be getting lots of clients and this is far from the case. If somebody is needing to support themselves, they cannot do it working for headway. While the income is nice, the referrals are not not a very good way to build your clientele. Only if you have your own clients is this a good fit?

Not as many referrals as I would need to leave other platforms. I do love the slightly higher reimbursement rate but ai tools are not as user friendly as other platforms as well.
