The company allows you make an appointment, when the provider is not available. This happen twice. The Provider stated she checks are messages when she has a chance. Unprofessional provider. Not a good experience.

I ended up with more stress than I had to begin with, and add anxiety to that. The only reason I tried this one and Talkspace (which was even worse) because my insurance recommended with these in their program. These platforms are full of so called half-professional providers with barely any experience, and that never respond nor show up. And you cannot cancel when they don't show after 30 minutes, because then they will charge you $75 for that. I have to take time out of my busy day to schedule sessions that never happened, now I need to see a real professional to vent about this platform and its poor service. No I DO NOT recommend. Seems like they look out for the provider and not the client. It is best to go to a REAL professional in person! Lesson learned.

If you are a provider and want to manage your insurance AND manage your patients this is the place. It's a riot. They create a platform on their website and give you HALF the tools you need and say here you go and what you end up doing is all the work lol. They just skim a BIG percentage off the top of your reimbursements. They credential you easily enough for no fee but that's where it ends. You just use their website to manage everything then they take their piece and send you your morsel. LOL. omg, what a hustle they have going on and all the uninformed providers go along. Single providers like PMHNPs do not have a full staff typically to manage this stuff which is why they don't accept insurance. I joined Headway to take care of that but realized quickly they aren't managing anything - "you are" and you're losing money and working harder!!! Well, another lesson learned!

They charged me for a monthly subscription and products that I did not order and when I wrote them they never refund me. I am wondering is this a scam or did any one else had a similar experience?

They have absolutely no phone number or email address to contact anyone at the company. The ONLY way to contact is logged-in through a long form which sends an automated email response that someone will get back to you AFTER 24 hours (which they don't) and there is absolutely nothing else you can do but wait. Worst platform ever. I have excellent insurance has been valid for years as verified by both my insurance agency and employer however this 3rd party company (Headway) automatically states my insurance isn't valid. I have heard this is how they get your bank and card info since you must then use this to pay and they sell all your info the other parties including Google (the are currently in a class action law suit for this at the moment). Horrible and unethical company. Do not use.

literally the worst platform ive ever experienced. i have insurance right and my copay when i FIRST started was 35. i got a new therapist and after the new year with my company, mental health services were supposed to be free. i had a couple sessions that were at 0. i had gotten two refunds back from headway of 450 and 150. Then i got an email from multiple sessions that i was being undercharged by 104 and some cents. i had constantly checked my benefits on headway and it was CONSTANTLY changing. it went from 35 to 0 to 305 to now 160-170 per session and btw i still have insurance. i emailed them and it took them quite literally 6 days to get back to me.

Customer service is NOT responding to my concern about a new charge to my account this is almost x3 higher than normal. Then when I write and raise my concern - you answer in the dark. You are stil not answering my email in regards to the extra charge that all of sudden appeared. How is that possible - that it’s so difficult. I don’t get it. Now 2 answers later - my questions still not resolved and your respond time was over 8 days on my last email. Come on! Has this become the norm now for tech companies to not care at all.

I'm been trying to answers from my Headway.co contact for several weeks now, specifically regarding how much they're actually making per client, as well as concerns I have about their new "provider agreement". From what I've been able to glean from other sources, it seems to me that Headway.co is making a LOT of money off of their providers and isn't willing to be transparent about this!
