This service charged my clients and provided me with payment without ever filing insurance claims which is a huge ethical and financial issue.

I am a provider with Headway. They have not paid me in a month. Every time I've reached out to customer service, I've received the run-around and no help at all. According to the site, I was paid for a client session from 3/6/24, however, I never received the payment. I was supposed to receive payment for another session with that same client on 3/31. Never received that either. I've contacted customer support and opened 3 tickets. Two of the tickets are listed as being resolved- but it's not resolved. And nothing changes. I was told by support that I would be paid for both sessions on 3/31.. and still no payment. Reached out again, and was informed that my bank wasn't verified. When i log in, it says clearly, bank was verified. No one is responding to the 3rd ticket. It shouldn't be this difficult to get paid for my work. Please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY! They are awful!

These guys told me I was covered, in-network, at 100% and I had a $25 copay. Fast forward 2 months, and 6 sessions later, they send me an e-mail saying, sorry we got it wrong, you owe us the entire amount (now over $500). Very unprofessional and impossible to reach them on the phone to discuss. As a medical doctor myself, I would NEVER send my patients to them.

I made a appointment to see a therapist, so on my first appointment, I was waiting to join the link, and she never came on. And a few minutes later she cancelled my appointment, and I was unsure why, so I rescheduled with her again. She then cancelled the appointment again. The next day, I noticed she charged me a 75 fee, for a no show. I then reached out to her, to find out why, she stated I never joined the link. Which was a lie, and mind you it was our first appointment. So you wld think she wld reach out too me, if I “wasnt” online. The therpist and Headway refused to give me back my fee, I had to reach out to my bank to dispute the charge and they found it in my favor because I cld prove i was online. So be aware of Headway.

The bonus is a scam it's just manipulation

Headway insists on hiring NPs, who are CLEARLY WAY LESS EDUCATED THAN ANY DOCTOR! WE DON'T WANT TO ACCEPT THE REALITY THAT THE UNITED STATES HEALTHCARE SYSTEM IS A COMMUNIST SYSTEM WHERE WE GET NON-DOCTORS TO TREAT US! BECAUSE SOCIETY HAD NORMALIZED A NURSE OR PA! HEADWAY IS PUTTING YOUR HEALTH AT RISK 100%.

I contacted the provider's office to see if they accepted my insurance. They took my information and said they would call me back. I got a call back from them saying everything was good to go and my co-pay would be $15. Had the appointment and paid the co-pay. A week later, I got a notification that the therapist I saw didn't accept my insurance, and I owed almost $300 for a barely 15-minute appointment.

I was in the process of becoming a provider with Headway until they wanted my username and password to my bank account. When I balked and stated that they only need a routing number for deposit, I never heard from them again. Even after several emails to them. Not giving someone your bank account username and password is scam security 101. I ran.
