I've been with Headway for over 4 months. I brought several clients with me, who were previous OON or cash pay. These clients are very grateful to be paying less per session, now that I accept their insurance via Headway. Many of the insurance plans Headway works with pay a decent amount ($100 or more) per session. While I like the Headway platform and the various outcome measures they give clinicians/clients access to, I think it's unconscionable for any therapist to be paid less than $100 per session. Headway provides a valuable service in making insurance credentialing much easier than doing it alone, but the rates could be increased for some plans.

Prompt payment - I don't have to wait for an insurance claim to go through to be paid and the pay is substantially better than other platforms. Well-thought out forms, policies, and trainings that are clearly and concisely written. Quick communication about dealings with insurance companies.

I love how easy Headway makes billing insurance, getting credentialed and getting paid regularly. One star down because there are the occasional glitches in the system with insurance verification. Also, my clients and I would love a customer service phone line where we could talk to a representative.

Headway is easy to use. It is easy to become credentialed with insurances and they have people available to walk you through the steps in the beginning. If you aren't bringing your own clients there are not a lot of referrals from Headway so they could improve the client referral process.

Helpful staff, great video trainings and easy to use online format.

I like Headway for the most PART BUT REALLY FIND IT FRUSTRATING TO GET A HOLD OF SOMEONE WHEN THERE IS AN ISSUE OR PROBLEM. iF A SIMILAR COMPANY CAME ALONG WITH THE SAME KIND OF SET-UP BUT HAD A LINE HELP VLINE, i WOULD SWITCH IN A MINUTE!

Mostly good - credentialing goes smoothly and headway keeps me informed of new insurers all the time, have had difficulty with attaching my calendar to headway calendar even though I have followed the directions and gone through the steps to connect them methodically at least twice! To no avail.
