I wanted to share some feedback regarding my interview on February 19 at 4:00 PM. Initially, the interviewer, Manny, confirmed twice that an LMSW license would be valid for this position. However, by the end of the interview, he expressed uncertainty about whether a supervisor would be available for LMSWs.I found this situation frustrating, as I had set aside time in a busy schedule and was looking forward to the interview. Additionally, much of the discussion seemed to focus on compensation rather than the actual responsibilities and work of the therapist. I kindly request that Headway ensures all information is accurate before scheduling interviews in the future, so candidates’ time is respected. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

They billed me twice in 2 seconds. I ordered the €23,99 special but suddenly also paid an extra €19.98 for "Visualized Best Sellers"?! I was only going to test the app on the special. They have a NO REFUND policy. So yes... SCAMMED.

I only wanted to get the result of a "personality quiz" on their website. Instead, I was signed up for two recurring subscriptions (around €48 per month in total). Dark marketing patterns, not honest service. I never installed or used the app and never use the service, and I only noticed the charges after about €200 had already been deducted. While this may technically comply with their terms, the subscription flow felt misleading and not clearly communicated. Please review all billing details very carefully before confirming payment.

I cannot even believe how horribly Headway treated me after THEY "accidentally" contacted BCBS and reduced my credentials as a specialist NP to a nonspecialist causing me to be reimbursed at a much lower rate. OVER a YEAR later, I am still out nearly 10K...yes this is insane. At first they said they would help and then ... crickets. They say this has only happened once before but I read all the negative comments and see that it has happened to others. Horrible customer service, horrible provider support, terrible company. Instead try TAVA, Grow therapy, Psychiatric Practice accelerator and many others with good reviews. RUN AWAY from Headway! You are welcome for saving you terrible experiences.

do not use headway, this is another level corporate greed. Find an independent therapist, A REAL THERAPIST. These tech platform giants who are just recruiting just anyone is terrible. My so called therapist literally was reading from chatgpt. I saw the screen open in her glasses. I couldn't believe it. do not use any of these platforms, better help, or any of these tech giants.

Stay away from this company. Psychologist turn over too much and do not respond through the patient portal. Customer service is atrocious. They send in the wrong prescriptions to the pharmacy. It’s a disaster.

Do NOT use Headway. This company is a scam. I later found out that my health insurance is in network with Headway and that my coverage is 100% with no co-pay, yet they were charging me anyway. That is not a mistake — that is unacceptable billing behavior. Once I discovered this and tried to reach out for an explanation or refund, I got absolutely no response. No customer support, no accountability, nothing. Taking money they shouldn’t have and then ignoring patients when questioned is beyond unprofessional. Healthcare billing is already stressful, and Headway made it worse by overcharging and then disappearing when confronted. This feels misleading and predatory, especially for a healthcare-related company that people are supposed to trust. Save yourself the headache, wasted time, and money. Avoid Headway at all costs.

If I could I would give this 0 stars. I had a very frustrating experience with HEADWAY billing and support. I was incorrectly charged full price for an IN-NETWORK follow up visit, despite having insurance on file and later received confirmation from them that my responsibility was only a $15 co-pay. Even after my insurance paid their portion of the claim, Headway wouldn't even try to expedite the process or refund the overpayment. Communication was EXTREMELY poor. I was told the issue would be handled via email, but have yet to receive a response, it has been OVER FOUR DAYS. When I had attempted to follow up and request escalation to a billing supervisor, I was refused multiple times and at one point one of the support workers ended my chat before I was done. The only one who actually was somewhat helpful was Karl, he explained that the supervisors don't have a direct line for chats (which is the dumbest thing as well as not having a phone line for calls instead in my opinion)Other than Karl the lack of transparency, accountability, and willingness to escalate a confirmed billing error caused unnecessary stress and financial hardship that is STILL ongoing. I would caution others to closely monitor charges and advocate for themselves if billing errors occur. ALSO make sure you get all the information about billing and copays before your appointment so you don't get screwed over like I did...
