I am both a provider and a client that uses Headway. I chose to use Headway as a provider because they do my billing, credentialing, follow up with clients for copays, and send me referrals when I open my availability; this allows me to focus on the therapy aspect of care, rather than the administrative portion. I have never had an issue that wasn't quickly and professionally resolved. It is important to note that billing through insurance is never without some wrinkles, but I appreciate the support that Headway provides for me to be able to continue my private practice.

Headway has been very beneficial in allowing me to accept insurance-paying clients in my practice. Their services allow me to focus more on my clients and less on pesky business details. My partnership with Headway also offers a higher pay rate for me than I would be able to get as a solo panelist. I have also been pleasantly surprised with Headway's responsiveness to any questions I have had.

Easy, able to write quick, detailed, concise notes. Ease of payment great. Was leery to invest in taking insurance for my practice due to all of the leg work to reach out to insurance after the session. Some occasions not even being able to be paid after all the effort. Appreciate Headway doing all of the work.

I'm writing this review as a provider; this service has helped me expanded my caseload of patient's who take insurance. The service is free and offers access to an EMR and scheduling. They help a lot with billing and my patients have used Headway to find psychiatric prescribers as well.

Having Headway to handle my insurance processing and billing has not only allowed me to venture off into my own private practice, but also has given me peace of mind of knowing when and how I will be paid.

Headway takes the administrative challenges of billing, as well as EAP’s so you can focus on client care. They have great customer service, simple to use, and reimbursement rates are sometimes better than a therapist’s contracted rate. My clients like the appointment reminders along with the copay information prior to their session. I definitely recommend their services.

Headway has not only provided a reliable billing platform, steady referrals, and organized and coordinated services for providers to better meet their client needs, but also protects clincians from insurance clawback, ensures insurance is up to date, and client forms of payment are active; all so that therapists can focus on client care rather than admin/billing/collections. In general, my experience with Headway has been extremely positive. The credentialing process was straightforward and didn't involve any significant delays. I receive my payments biweekly, and so far, I haven't encountered any problems in this regard. The compensation is more favorable compared to when I worked as an independent provider, even though I didn't particularly mind billing on my own for years. However, being with Headway has introduced me to the advantages of not having to constantly verify eligibility and benefits or spending endless hours on the phone with insurance companies. It has truly been a blessing and has transformed the way I work for the better.
