The digital calendar system needs to be updated. I recommend they model the Therapy Notes calendar system.

Good company but doesn't take Medicare as a primary insurance for my clients, I was led to believe so when I signed up.

Made my first appointment, day of i waited on the link they sent me for almost 30 minutes and it showed the therapist as "away" the whole time. Later I emailed the therapist and he said he waited and it showed me as "away." Luckily I took screenshots of me in the waiting room because a few days later I get charged a $100 cancelation fee. After several live chats with Headway they finally opened an investigation and they did eventually refund me. But it sounds like they need to get their tech side fixed.

Horrible provider support times. It can take days and reopening tickets to get answers. Also, the payouts should be more.

I was told i was credentialed with regence of Idaho assuming that meant with all regence of idaho plans (isnt that what the headway team checks during the credentialling process); only to later find out i wasnt. And this was after i saw two clients with a regence of idaho plan several sessions and the clients TOLD ME they weren’t covered after being led to believe by headway they were; and now tgey both are stuck with large bills and ive lost two clients!

I really like Headway but would like them to provide client referrals to the Providers.

Jury still out after issues with the billing department not seemingly understanding basic billing issues that arose. What they were told by the insurance co. was a significant deviation from practice standards and almost went to charge the patient directly, despite this not being typical. I had to spend hours challenging what they were told and coordinating a reversal of what they were about to do, when the point of being with them was to not be involved in billing issues.

I like how the platform supports independent practice and isn’t seemingly trying to absorb every private practice into their group practice. I don’t like the changes that people are reporting in their CAQH about phone numbers being changed that directly impact referrals to the private practice. I am now on high alert as referrals to my private practice from insurance companies have slowed down. I also don’t like not being able to speak to a real person on the phone since signing up.
