I used it for years and it seemed ok, but then they suddenly wiped all my data and made me pay for an additional subscription, starting again with the basic meditation mindfulness course.

Headspace is a total ripoff like many other people have mentioned the auto rebilling system is a scam i contacted them 4 days before my bill was due saying i wanted to cancel my subscription.. They didnt reply untill it had rebilled me the full retail price of $145aud the minutes later they replied to my email then they offered me a 50% discount so they basically scam you.. Also i lost 7dollars in international transfer fees. ALSO THE APP DOESN'T WORK!!! The idea of this is you can download sessions to listen offline but they never save!!! Making this app virtually useless for me. Don't bother with headspace just use a combination of youtube and stopify and you will get the same thing.

No Way To Cancel! I am 10 days into my Free Trial. I am not using the app so I want to cancel. Well, you can't. I followed the instructions several times and the magic button for cancelation does not exist! They say to contact them if you have any problem. After reading these one-star reviews, I just went ahead and canceled my VISA card. It looks like I would have enjoyed the app, but I have already paid for another similar app called Waking Up and am going to focus on that. I only wanted to check out the Headspace app, but turns out they have bad karma.

DON’T SUBSCRIBE - they have told me they will refund my auto subscription (which I thought was via ITunes but was via Headspace) but didn’t and now won’t respond to my emails. It’s a dishonourable company that purports to want to help you re mindfulness then stresses you out by not honouring what it says it will do and then ignoring future contact! I’m going to report them to one of those TV programmes that deal with scammers. As for the App ... the structure is good but I found the voices irritating and get the help I need via YouTube! UPDATE: my money was refunded :-)

Another £75 taken without any warning about auto renewed subscriptions and this was for my daughter who is a full time student who would have been eligible for a student discount which should have cost only £9.99. Am in correspondence with Apple, Headspace and PayPal at the moment to try and get the money refunded but am being sent round in circles. This practice is nothing less than a scam and should be outlawed. My daughter first looked into Headspace because she was stressed and suffering from anxiety at University - this has now added to her trauma. I will post again if I get any updates but the company should think hard about what they are doing here because their reputation is sliding fast!

I have subscribed for going on three years, now, but will probably not renew it: The meditation exercises are stale and the approach is rote. What REALLY frustrates me, though, are the Sleepscapes -- a brilliant concept that worked really well for a while, but now cuts out, mid-stream, thus NEGATING the whole purpose: which is to gently lull you to sleep. When I have to sit up and re-start a story that has just stopped, it stresses me out and, frankly, makes me angry. I have contacted Headspace tech support and all they say is to re-install the Headspace app. I've tried this several times, with no improvement. I'm fed up. I think Headspace's 15 minutes of fame are now over. They are for me, at least.

They say that they provide free access to all K-12 teachers. A generous offer to be sure, but what they really mean is that they will only grant this to K-12 teachers who work for institutions. I have two California teaching credentials and am actively teaching special needs students in numerous districts. The Sheer ID forms exclude me based on the type of employment I have (still teaching), but not on my qualifications as a K-12 educator. Customer service was dismissive and pointed me to other discounts. Really disappointing.

I was under the impression that I was purchasing the "monthly fee" for this App, and instead, they charged me $69.99 and will not refund my money. They kept telling me that I need to talk to iTunes Support. So, I did that, and iTunes Support told me that I have to talk to Headspace. This is a complete scam and I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else. Now I have to dispute and report them, and wait to see my money again in the next few weeks. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! DO NOT BUY INTO THEIR BS!
