So first I got the FREE trial of this headspace App. Because there is almost nothing useful on this FREE trial, I unlocked more attributes by subscribing to 2 free weeks to see if it is worth to pay for an actual subscription (at least this is what the website offers ). After checking what is inside, I find the app useless and the sessions are repetitive. I don't think it is worth to pay the money for an annual or monthly subscription. Now, I want to remove myself from the "free" trial days. But now that I see my account, it seems that I already subscribed to the ANNUAL subscription that includes 2 "free weeks". There is absolutely nothing "FREE" about this. Now that I check the conditions of this subscription, seems that Headspace is going to take my money anyways for an ANNUAL subscription, even though I'm still within the "2 weeks free trial". So yeah, I got the idea of this "free weeks". And what is seems is that they are going to take my money anyways. Headspace, please revise the ethics of your subscription policy.

Awful customer service!

I have been debited a years subscription which I did not authorise !! Please can some one contact me or refund this money

Headspace rips off its customers. In July 2019, I bought a year's subscription to Headspace. A few months later, it locked me out of the app. I spent several weeks in a frustrating email exchange with the help department. Eventually, my access was restored. Four months later, I opened the app and was told that I could have a free trial, after which I would have to pay, even though I had already paid. Don't pay anything to this app!

I downloaded this app as part of a bundle I got with Spotify. Having being using it alongside other changes in my life (such as quitting smoking and being more active) I have definitely noticed a difference when it comes to mindfulness, I find it easier to be more present which is paying off in other areas of my life, and I have felt a lot calmer (I'm usually a massive over thinker and put myself into anxiety thought loops). I've also noticed an improvement in sleep quality, the sleep casts are really useful and I have an easier time ''switching off'. What I would say to anybody thinking of using it, it is NOT a miracle cure. This should be used to enhance and guide you on what you are doing. You get out of the app what you are willing to put in (That goes for any mindfulness apps). As for refunds, I am unable to comment however my experience with the customer service team has been fantastic so far so I would like to think Headspace has listened to the reviews and sorted this out.

Customer service is awful. iTunes automatically renewed my annual subscription for which I wasn’t aware and trying to get a refund has been impossible. I feel completely ripped off.

Put on your running shoes, because Headspace has set up an obstacle course with their cancellation process. Most companies make easy peasy. Account > subscriptions > cancel. This company should be called Headspin, because you'll be spending hours trying to figure out how to get out of your subscription. Don't say I didn't warn you...

Bought a years subscription through Anxiety UK membership, couldn't get a subscription account sorted for a week because their systems arent in sync. Then after 1 month the app stops working says i need to subscribe..but i have a year's subscription??! After waiting 5days for a response i provide Headspace with proof of purchase etc. then say it's Anxiety UKs issue, now i need to contact them. Finding it all very stressful, ironically. Went on holiday planning to meditate but have no access and spent my time emailing customer support instead. Bit of advice Headspace/Anxiety uk, if you're going to partner up on this have your systems sorted out and don't pass customers around.
