The app never works. The layout for every show is different. The streams is often buggy (my internet isnt the issue) and poor quality. The subtitles rarely work or are not in sync. Sound is often also not in sync. They keep having errors and errors and errors. It's a nightmare. And their solution? "Uninstal / reinstal" even after doing it 5 times just this week it doesnt solve anything. Get your app together or charge us 1€ a month.

Frustrating app. Keeps freezing causing my tv to freeze requiring me to turn tv off and on at power point. Then when app finally starts it doesn't remember where you left off. If I binge watch something it just keeps freezing. Can't believe I keep paying for this. Not for long though.

The range, availability of shows and the fact that every season is available is truly amazing. But my god this app is so poorly run and broken. Apparently it’s too hard to list when and what time something premiers, it crashes constantly, you have to log in multiple times, it doesn’t remember what episode you got up to and the subtitles are completely out of sync. I can’t emphasise how amazing the range of shows and seasons is, but my god, this is the most poorly run app I have ever encountered. It’s actually criminal that they charge anything for this ‘service’. I’ve had this service for years, but the only reason I haven’t dropped it is because it has exclusive shows that I can’t watch anywhere else in Australia

After I cancelled my subscription they kept charging me for 2 years and unfortunately I didn’t look at every single charge on my card until recently. I contacted them and all they said is that I have no active subscription. No kidding but how did they keep charging my card? Horrible and unhelpful customer service! Such scammers and I have read that this is normal with them.

it is awful. i can never watch anything straight away it literally just doesn't do anything and loads for absolutely ages. i cannot believe i actually paid for this thing it is so slow and buffers constantly it doesn't even deserve a whole star

Hayu has programmes in want to watch that's the only reason I have it a "2" Tv apps useless! You can't see the programme titles clearly, when you do finally get to the programme, the highlight is very dark! You can't change the back ground! More often than not it takes several attempts actually selecting the episode you want, without having to go back&try again. App on tv & my tablet often crash so annoying!

How can an app be this terrible in 2026? Crashes so much it's useless. Used hayu in the past & hoped it would have improved - but it's actually got worse!! Customer service is a joke. Not sure if they are dumb or are trained to write stupid replies.

Worst app ever. Always crashing, was down for 4 days would load anything. Only thing that is reliable is that it WILL CRASH everytime you go to watch something
