We purchased a sofa from Havertys and paid $350.00 for a 5 year warranty! It has been over 6 weeks since we tried to submit a claim. After a 10 days of trying to submit a claim we finally got a Claim submitted and after more than a month we still have had no contact from Guardsman, the warranty company, and we can not get any updates on when Guardsman will repair our Sofa! Guardsman is a stone cold ripoff and Havertys has not interceded to honor the $350.00 warranty they sold us along with the Sofa! In closing, do not buy anything from Havertys and definitely do not buy any Warranty from Guardsman!

Beautiful furniture, friendly and knowledgeable saleswoman. Havertys care about thei customers! Easy and quick set up for delivery.

Our design specialist at the Rockville, Maryland Haverty's furniture store was Jessica. Jessica was extremely nice and helped up design 4 bedrooms a kitchen nook, and a great room. All of the furniture we bought for each room fit perfectly, just like she told us it would and it looks amazing! Jessica is the reason why we spent an extremely large amount of money at Haverty's. I would highly recommend Jessica to help you with your designing needs!

I purchased a recliner from Haverty's in Cedar Park, TX. The store people (I'd give 4 stars to) are all helpful and friendly. The chair was so soft and comfortable. The one delivered was like sitting on a rock. The arms didn't have as much stuffing. Even the fabric wasn't as soft. I went back to make sure I wasn't imagining this. I even told them that I'd trade the floor model for the one they delivered to me, but that was a no go. I understand that the more you sit in it, the softer it gets, but you have to want to sit in it. It was not put together properly, and I didn't notice until I opened the blinds behind the chair. There is a gap in the back where you can see the window. I tried to schedule a fix. It took 3 weeks for them to call me back. I was told they would be here after 1 pm. Perfect ! A few days before, I was given a 9 am to 5 pm window. When I tried to tell them that it would not work, we just went round and round (I think I was dealing with AI). Why should I sit around all day waiting to have them fix something that was their fault!!! I finally told them to cancel the fix. I'll fix it myself or just live with it. This is a $1,000 chair! We've purchased quite a few pieces of furniture from this store over the years, but never again.

I've spent $12,000 here in four years. The three year old adjustable bed died and after the run-around with Havertys and the manufacturer Reverie, both telling me to CRAWL UNDER THE BED AND LOCATE THE SERIAL NUMBER AND TRY TROUBLE SHOOTING WITH SOME BUTTONS....Haverty's finally agreed to send a tech out to do all that so Reverie would replace the part. The guy was nice and said "Just call and we'll come back to swap the part when you receive it." I received the part paying $35.00 for shipping. Haverty's refused after being on the phone for an hour and directed me to Reverie. Reverie said "I have no idea what they expect us to do the warranty is up after one year, call Taskrabbit."09/02/2026

The tables we ordered were perfect for our family room. Loved the pattern on the wood and the nesting ability. First complaint - Scheduling a delivery is awful! They make you block an entire day - no 4 hour window until the day before. I got the first set of tables - big nick in the small table. I offered to take a discount since I could tuck it under the bigger one. They offered a $100 gift card. Uh, NO! Scheduled a replacement. Another 8 hours... the big table had a big glob of putty where they started to fix a hole in the table but never finished. Scheduled a replacement... They didn't show - that's another 8 hours. Finally got another set of new tables and yet another big nick but unfortunately, this one isn't as easy to hide. No quality control at all! This was my first experience at Havertys. I will never shop here again.

Do not use this furniture company. Their delivery team damaged not only the furniture I purchased but also my hardwood floors, and no care was taken to protect either during delivery. Furniture was rolled in and removed from the dolly outside of the room then slid inside the room with one sharp unprotected leg gauging the floors on the path to placement and chipping the leg along the way. Felt pads placed after the fact. The delivery crew stated that Havertys would take care of it. Those words could not be more false. I did call customer service while the delivery crew was still at my home, but those men vanished quickly! When I raised the issue, their idea of "making it right" was not to repair the damaged furniture or my floors — only to refund the $199.00 delivery fee and offer a $200.00 store gift certificate to purchase more furniture. That doesn't come close to covering the actual damage, and it shows they aren't willing to take responsibility for the harm they caused. Also several places on the furniture pieces have cuts in the wood, my guess is from cutting open the packing? Pictures attached . Also one leg is missing stain, very discolored, 3k for a chest and nightstand should have better quality. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB and sharing this everywhere I can so other consumers know what to expect. Buyer beware.

Quality is mediocre for their prices. Do not purchase their warranty...they will never refund your money if you decide to cancel it later. Their sofas especially are built very poorly and within the first year they started squeaking. They came one time under warranty and fixed nothing. I won't go back to purchase anything from that store.
