New G300 Pro defective out of the box
New G300 Pro defective out of the box, “order # 31307”more than a week of troubleshooting I was excited about this bike. It arrived 10/15/26, I assembled it exactly per the manual, and it's been a frustrating experience since day one. Right away I hit three problems: the charger blinks red/green continuously and won't charge the battery to full (the manual only lists solid red for charging and solid green for full), the battery key wouldn't turn to ON with the battery installed, and the left pedal wouldn't thread into the crank. Three defects on a brand new bike before my first real ride. I contacted support the next day by email, text, and phone. The phone went unanswered and texts got scripted replies. Email support did respond and shipped replacement pedals and a battery lock, which I appreciate. The charging problem is still not fixed. I rode the bike about 12 miles to check the battery, and it powered the bike fine, so from what I can see the problem is the charger. Support says the battery could still be at fault, and told me other customers have reported the same red/green blinking where a replacement charger didn't solve it. So instead of sending a working charger or battery, they've asked me to test both with a multimeter. They offered to mail one, but waiting on shipping would have left the bike sitting even longer, so I ordered my own and I'm waiting for it to arrive. I'm not an e-bike technician, and I didn't spend this much on a new bike to become one in the first week. I've sent photos and videos and will send the test results as soon as I can run them. HappyRun offers a 30-day New Bike Guarantee, and I'm asking them to stand behind it with a fast resolution, including a replacement bike if that's what it takes to get me a working one. I'll update this review based on how HappyRun resolves it.
