This review is for the XL swim cap-I tried it out twice on my trip, and followed the enclosed directions, and it failed twice (my hair still got wet). I have a swim turban from YGN that works perfectly every time, but my braids were too long for it this time, and was excited to try your XL swim cap product, but it failed both times I used it.

We’re sorry the XL Swim Cap didn’t keep your hair dry, especially after you followed the instructions and were counting on it for your trip. We’d like to learn more about the fit and see if another size or style may work better. We’ll reach out by email to ask a few questions and help explore an exchange.

I purchased the raincoat back in 2025 and LOVE it! Rain does not soak through to my skin like my previous raincoat and the hood with visor keeps all my hair secure, even with a lot of braids! I got the shower cap recently and love the design. Its my go-to for travel. I recently contacted customer service to exchange my swim cap for a larger size and they were very responsive and helpful, giving suggestions for the correct size based on different hair styles. I highly recommend Hairbrella products!

I have purchased several items and love each one. My most recent purchase of the satin lined water proof infinity scarf is my favorite item so far! These are great products. Don’t hesitate to buy them.

Love my lightweight hood! It’s beautifully made, structure is perfect and the fabric is so soft! Can’t wait to use it in the rain and at festivals too. My item was on back order for a couple of weeks… not surprised cause I’m sure they sell quickly. But it arrived in exactly the timeframe they said it would. I’m happy. :)

I had purchased the satin lined infinity rain scarf for an upcoming trip to Patagonia, as we would be facing inclement weather sightseeing and traveling to the glaciers. It was absolutely perfect and exceeded my expectations, especially during extreme wind gusts and wet weather. When I had questions concerning my pending shipment, their Customer service team was extremely responsive. It’s been two years since my original purchase and I continue to use it almost monthly and more frequently during the cooler seasons. I’m impressed by the quality, and the numerous compliments I receive when wearing it from other sports moms and hikers alike.

Thank you, Kris, for sharing this wonderful review! We’re thrilled your Satin-Lined Waterproof Infinity Scarf kept you comfortable in Patagonia’s wind and wet weather, and that it’s continued to serve you so well over the past two years. We’re also glad our team could help with your shipment questions. We truly appreciate your support!

Unfortunately they accept orders when they don’t have the products in stock and the products are not cheap. Paid on 7/10 and as of today my items not been sent. I will now have to wait for a refund as it won’t arrive in time for the trip I needed it for. Disappointing as once you’ve looked at their website and signed up to get a discount you’re completely spammed with messages to buy. Pushed to buy something they don’t actually have!
Response from hairbrella.comOct 20, 2026
We’re very sorry your order wasn’t shipped in time for your trip and that we didn’t communicate the stock delay sooner. We understand how disappointing this was, and we apologize that our promotional emails added to your frustration. We’ve confirmed that your refund has been issued; the time it takes to appear depends on your bank or payment provider. We’re sorry we let you down.
