Overall the customer service was good. There was a little time delay when we were trying to get edge tiles, and marble/onyx slabs.

Great service, reasonable prices, beautiful tile. Only downside was an unexpected delivery fee that wasn't included in the quote. And the tile isn't delivered to your house, you still have to pick it up at the store.

I have had the pleasure of working with Garden State Tile on several projects over the last few years. They have an amazing selection of tile, stone and other finishing products that can fit any budget. Their staff is excellent. - I state this as someone who is often disappointed with the lack of customer service that retailers provide today. Each person possesses an extensive knowledge of Garden State's products and can guide you in the direction you would like to take your project. Their staff is very proactive with communication. Whenever I have had a custom tile order arrive at the shop, I get a call and an email from their staff. They always tell you what hours they are open in these messages, and can be flexible with pickup if you need it. They also follow up as promised and will order custom samples if you need them. If you stop by their showroom, ask for Rose Thomas. Rose is a very pleasant, creative person. My wife and I have worked with her on a couple projects recently. Rose is a very good listener. She is great with color selection and she will surprise you with her knowledge of the many, many possibilities that tile has to offer.

The service in-store was great but I was shocked that there were only ladies in dresses to help me (a lady) load the material when I arrived to pick it up. Also, double the amount of expensive tile was ordered for one area in my home (still unsure who made the mistake) and the request to return two untouched boxes (about $500 worth) was denied. Rather than holding onto the extra tile, my contractor created a way to put it to use even though it put us well over budget. It was nice that GST followed up with a solution to the loading issue.
