She really helps us figure out what we're feeling and how to talk to each other about it.

Grow is a mental health platform built to enable progress — connecting people with thousands of qualified therapists vetted across specialties, identities, and lived experiences, covered by insurance. We didn't begin with a theory about the market. We began with someone trying to help someone they loved, with the realization that when someone you care about needs mental health support, the system can feel cold, confusing, expensive, and built to wear people down. So we built something better to help people find care they can afford, stay with, and actually feel supported by — care that doesn't just work, but makes progress possible. We are not only for crisis. We are for all the moments when someone decides they want more: more support, more clarity, more tools. Because our goal isn't just to help people feel better — it's to help people achieve their goals in life. That starts with finding the right therapist, which is why we make it easy to search by specialty, language, cultural background, and identity, with care covered by insurance, appointments available in as little as 2 days, and most clients paying around $21 per session. Many pay $0, and self-pay and sliding scale options are also available. We are committed to a mental health experience that's easier to begin, more affordable to maintain, and grounded in trust — rethinking not just how people access care, but how care feels, because life doesn't pause between sessions, and with Grow, support doesn't either. So far, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, each one a step forward for someone, somewhere, building the life they've always wanted. With 220M lives covered, appointments offered virtually or in-person, including evenings and weekends, and clear cost estimates with no subscriptions to worry about, it's no surprise that 80%+ of Grow clients report feeling better after starting therapy. I like the platform. There is a lot of forms to fill out a lot of the time which can irratate me but I understand that its necessary. I enjoy the therapist I see and really feel I get the help I need.

I was supposed to have my first session today. I was online and clicked the link in my email precisely at that time, and it showed the provider was offline. I waited for 17 minutes, well after the 10-minute grace period. Assuming she was a no show, I checked my email only to see that the provider canceled and said that I did not show. This was not a great first experience for me. I have never done therapy before and was very nervous and anxious about this session, only for it not to happen and then for the blame to be put on me. May have been a technical error, but I don't see how.

I'm sorry to hear that you did not have the best experience, and we appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. We've recently launched our telehealth service for all of our providers which unfortunately resulted in some disruptions in care. Our system is always evolving, and our team works to prevent technical errors from occurring but we acknowledge that there are some times when errors can happen. We always encourage individuals to notify our team at [email protected] if they ever encounter situations where our providers don't meet their expectations so we can thoroughly investigate each incident and take appropriate action. We appreciate you flagging this to our team so we have the opportunity to surface and resolve issues that could potentially lead to other frustrating experiences. If we can offer you any further support, know our team is always available at [email protected]! Best, Grow Therapy Support Team
