Quality Therapist
I had a Quality therapist who made my experience comfortable.

Grow is a mental health platform built to enable progress — connecting people with thousands of qualified therapists vetted across specialties, identities, and lived experiences, covered by insurance. We didn't begin with a theory about the market. We began with someone trying to help someone they loved, with the realization that when someone you care about needs mental health support, the system can feel cold, confusing, expensive, and built to wear people down. So we built something better to help people find care they can afford, stay with, and actually feel supported by — care that doesn't just work, but makes progress possible. We are not only for crisis. We are for all the moments when someone decides they want more: more support, more clarity, more tools. Because our goal isn't just to help people feel better — it's to help people achieve their goals in life. That starts with finding the right therapist, which is why we make it easy to search by specialty, language, cultural background, and identity, with care covered by insurance, appointments available in as little as 2 days, and most clients paying around $21 per session. Many pay $0, and self-pay and sliding scale options are also available. We are committed to a mental health experience that's easier to begin, more affordable to maintain, and grounded in trust — rethinking not just how people access care, but how care feels, because life doesn't pause between sessions, and with Grow, support doesn't either. So far, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, each one a step forward for someone, somewhere, building the life they've always wanted. With 220M lives covered, appointments offered virtually or in-person, including evenings and weekends, and clear cost estimates with no subscriptions to worry about, it's no surprise that 80%+ of Grow clients report feeling better after starting therapy. How concerned and genuine about my situation and how knowledgeable she is about giving ideas and advice.

All the 4 and 5 star reviews are from "invited" accounts that are given free therapy session for their "great" reviews. Filter to see the REAL reviews, you know, the reviews that aren't begged for by the company, the reviews from actual experiences, the reviews that really tell how horrible this platform is. ALSO, not many ppl understand that Grow Therapy is a 3rd party platform that allows therapist to use their platform as general contractors (like a hair stylist who doesn't own the salon but services their clients in the salon and has to pay the salon for use). This platform is horrible and take the liability of issues away from therapist. What does this mean? This means, your therapist can do ANYTHING they want to do and not be held liable. Why? Because their bullies (Grow Therapy) will "handle" it. You will only see your therapist via online appointments, everything else is handle by grow therapy (billing, complaints, reviews, etc...). I Do Not Recommend Grow Therapy and therefore do not recommend any of the therapis who use this platform to do their tele-health appointments. Grow Therapy allows the therapist to end sessions early, show up to sessions late, OR not show up to appointed sessions at all. There is also a glitch, buggy system, and a delay in each session. I've tried my sessions from my cellphone on my cell data, at home on my desktop with my home internet service, and also at work on my company's computer/internet. It's not technical, it's Grow Therapy. You loose a good 10-15mins per session because there is a delay when talking and when the therapist is speaking to you (coincidence??). Also, the billing is horrible, I got my EOB from insurance and saw I was charged for sessions the therapist didn't show up at all, I appealed those charges and ask the insurance to investigate the charges for fraud. If you are a client looking for a therapist and that therapist uses Grow Therapy as a platform to do their sessions, do not do it (unless you have time to write bad reviews, call your insurance company every week, wait for Grow Therapy's horrible customer service department to finally email you back - there's no phone number, only an email which takes years for them to reply). This service is horrible.

I recently joined the Grow team as a contracted LPC therapist, and the experience has been incredibly streamlined and efficient. I make my schedule and am always ready to answer any questions that therapists like me would have. Their support team is incredible. I highly recommend Grow Therapy.

The company is great and has made the experience of booking sessions easy. The times are consistent and there are many options to choose from when looking for someone who fits you.

I like the virtual aspects of grow and ease of getting to therapy and then moving on with my day.
