Victoria is absolutely amazing. She listens to me and understands what I am feeling!

Grow is a mental health platform built to enable progress — connecting people with thousands of qualified therapists vetted across specialties, identities, and lived experiences, covered by insurance. We didn't begin with a theory about the market. We began with someone trying to help someone they loved, with the realization that when someone you care about needs mental health support, the system can feel cold, confusing, expensive, and built to wear people down. So we built something better to help people find care they can afford, stay with, and actually feel supported by — care that doesn't just work, but makes progress possible. We are not only for crisis. We are for all the moments when someone decides they want more: more support, more clarity, more tools. Because our goal isn't just to help people feel better — it's to help people achieve their goals in life. That starts with finding the right therapist, which is why we make it easy to search by specialty, language, cultural background, and identity, with care covered by insurance, appointments available in as little as 2 days, and most clients paying around $21 per session. Many pay $0, and self-pay and sliding scale options are also available. We are committed to a mental health experience that's easier to begin, more affordable to maintain, and grounded in trust — rethinking not just how people access care, but how care feels, because life doesn't pause between sessions, and with Grow, support doesn't either. So far, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, each one a step forward for someone, somewhere, building the life they've always wanted. With 220M lives covered, appointments offered virtually or in-person, including evenings and weekends, and clear cost estimates with no subscriptions to worry about, it's no surprise that 80%+ of Grow clients report feeling better after starting therapy. Good therapist: patient, authentic, willing to listen and not interrupt, judge, or even comment unnecessarily. Highly intelligent, authentic, having good social manners as an 'active listener' (though certainly almost an antiquated term, still rings true as a valuable skill) which for men is rare based on my 58+ years of life. I hope other men can benefit as well.

Learning about my mental health has been easy with Grow Therapy because of the providers talking me through ways of dealing with my mental health. The first step towards taking care of my mental health was the hardest but the providers made my experience extremely easy to understand and implemented skills to better help me in day-to-day activities I previously struggled with.

Working at Grow Therapy has been a rewarding and enriching experience overall. A typical day for me involves reviewing emails, verifying upcoming appointments, and carefully reviewing client charts to ensure I’m fully prepared for each session. This routine helps me stay organized and focused on providing the best care possible for my clients. One of the most significant things I’ve learned during my time here is how to streamline my notes and session questions to maximize the effectiveness of each appointment. This has not only improved my efficiency but also enhanced the quality of care I’m able to provide. Management at Grow Therapy has been supportive, though there have been occasional delays in communication. That said, whenever I’ve had questions or needed assistance, the team has been very responsive and proactive in resolving issues. Their commitment to providing support has made navigating challenges much easier. As a remote worker, workplace culture hasn’t been a major factor for me, but I appreciate the flexibility and independence that comes with this setup. It allows me to focus on my work without unnecessary distractions. The hardest part of the job, for me, is ensuring I consistently block off an hour or two each day for documentation. Staying on top of note submission is crucial, and while it can be challenging at times, it’s a necessary part of the role that helps maintain accountability and organization. On the flip side, the most enjoyable part of working at Grow Therapy is the peace of mind that comes with not having to worry about filling my schedule. The client matching system is excellent, and the turnout rate has been consistently high. I also appreciate the reminders for invoice and note due dates, as well as the system’s prompts to schedule follow-ups—these features make administrative tasks much more manageable. Additionally, I’ve found immense value in the community access and the wealth of resources available to support me in my role. Whether it’s professional development tools or clinical resources, Grow Therapy provides a robust support system that empowers me to grow in my practice. Lastly, the payout compensation per session is fair and transparent, which I greatly appreciate. It’s refreshing to work with a platform that values its providers and ensures timely and competitive compensation. Overall, my experience at Grow Therapy has been overwhelmingly positive and I would highly recommend it to other mental health professionals looking for a streamlined and supportive telehealth environment.
