Grow is a mental health platform built to enable progress — connecting people with thousands of qualified therapists vetted across specialties, identities, and lived experiences, covered by insurance. We didn't begin with a theory about the market. We began with someone trying to help someone they loved, with the realization that when someone you care about needs mental health support, the system can feel cold, confusing, expensive, and built to wear people down. So we built something better to help people find care they can afford, stay with, and actually feel supported by — care that doesn't just work, but makes progress possible. We are not only for crisis. We are for all the moments when someone decides they want more: more support, more clarity, more tools. Because our goal isn't just to help people feel better — it's to help people achieve their goals in life. That starts with finding the right therapist, which is why we make it easy to search by specialty, language, cultural background, and identity, with care covered by insurance, appointments available in as little as 2 days, and most clients paying around $21 per session. Many pay $0, and self-pay and sliding scale options are also available. We are committed to a mental health experience that's easier to begin, more affordable to maintain, and grounded in trust — rethinking not just how people access care, but how care feels, because life doesn't pause between sessions, and with Grow, support doesn't either. So far, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, each one a step forward for someone, somewhere, building the life they've always wanted. With 220M lives covered, appointments offered virtually or in-person, including evenings and weekends, and clear cost estimates with no subscriptions to worry about, it's no surprise that 80%+ of Grow clients report feeling better after starting therapy. I’ve had a truly positive experience with my therapist through Grow Therapy, and I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation. From the beginning, I felt heard, respected, and supported. My therapist created a safe space for open conversation and consistently guided me with empathy, insight, and practical tools that I could apply in my daily life. The growth I’ve experienced—emotionally and mentally—has been significant, and I feel more grounded and empowered moving forward. I also want to commend Grow Therapy as a company. The process of finding a therapist that matched my needs was seamless, and I appreciated how accessible and user-friendly the platform is. It’s clear that Grow Therapy puts thought into connecting clients with qualified, compassionate professionals, and that makes a big difference. The flexibility of virtual sessions, as well as the professionalism shown across the board, has made accessing mental health support more approachable and sustainable. That said, there are a few areas where I think things could be improved. Communication around insurance and billing could be a bit clearer—having more detailed, upfront information about what’s covered and how costs are calculated would help set expectations early on. Additionally, it might be helpful to introduce more community resources, like educational webinars, support groups, or even a library of self-guided tools for clients to use between sessions. These could complement therapy and encourage continued growth outside of appointments. Expanding appointment availability for clients with tight or nontraditional schedules would also be a valuable improvement. Overall, my experience has been very meaningful, and I’m grateful for the care I’ve received. I’m sharing this feedback in the spirit of helping a great service continue to grow and improve. Thank you for all the important work you’re doing.
