I've had many therapist before, but I finally found someone who listens and understands my issues. The fact that I can express in both languages has been a huge help, I don't feel judged, I feel validated.

Great therapist trustworthy and solution oriented

I started using Grow Therapy through Carelon and L.A. Covered in April 2025, expecting reliable mental health support. Instead, I faced unprofessional and negligent service. In June, my copay was mysteriously turned off, with no explanation or accountability. I had to chase them down myself to fix it. In August, technical issues made it impossible for me and my therapist to communicate. Grow Therapy told my therapist the problem was that I needed to be verified. Their solution was a disappearing help widget in the portal. Multiple attempts to reach support — by phone, portal, or email — were useless. I was left stranded while dealing with high anxiety and medical appointments, with no guidance or communication from them. I want to make it clear: my therapist was 5 stars, despite Grow Therapy’s failures. Filing a formal complaint was difficult due to confusing processes between Carelon and L.A. Covered, even though both teams were professional and tried to help. Grow Therapy itself proved inaccessible, unprofessional, and negligent. If you’re considering therapy through them, be aware of these issues. After all, they have great reviews on Trustpilot. I’m now seeking a new therapist outside this company. As of 09/10/2025 Grow Therapy replied suggesting I use a Help icon in the portal to reach support. I have screenshots of my dashboard and account settings — there is no Help icon or widget anywhere. In fact my account page says that I am verified. If Grow Therapy truly wanted to resolve this, the professional step would have been to email me directly and provide a working phone number to a human. Instead, they sent me back into the same broken loop I described in my review.

They tried to steal $80 from me then give me the run around. They billed me for an appointment that I never had. I contacted customer service. They told me the provider submitted the bill. I contacted the provider and she said she never submitted a bill. I reported them to the insurance company for insurance fraud.
