Grow is a mental health platform built to enable progress — connecting people with thousands of qualified therapists vetted across specialties, identities, and lived experiences, covered by insurance. We didn't begin with a theory about the market. We began with someone trying to help someone they loved, with the realization that when someone you care about needs mental health support, the system can feel cold, confusing, expensive, and built to wear people down. So we built something better to help people find care they can afford, stay with, and actually feel supported by — care that doesn't just work, but makes progress possible. We are not only for crisis. We are for all the moments when someone decides they want more: more support, more clarity, more tools. Because our goal isn't just to help people feel better — it's to help people achieve their goals in life. That starts with finding the right therapist, which is why we make it easy to search by specialty, language, cultural background, and identity, with care covered by insurance, appointments available in as little as 2 days, and most clients paying around $21 per session. Many pay $0, and self-pay and sliding scale options are also available. We are committed to a mental health experience that's easier to begin, more affordable to maintain, and grounded in trust — rethinking not just how people access care, but how care feels, because life doesn't pause between sessions, and with Grow, support doesn't either. So far, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, each one a step forward for someone, somewhere, building the life they've always wanted. With 220M lives covered, appointments offered virtually or in-person, including evenings and weekends, and clear cost estimates with no subscriptions to worry about, it's no surprise that 80%+ of Grow clients report feeling better after starting therapy. Grow therapy and their counselors have my best interest at heart and they have more than just counseling to assist in my journey. Their dashboard and toolkits are also very effective in getting me to where I want to be.

I have an amazing therapist. She is helping me greatly with my issues with PTSD, and substance abuse. I am very happy with grow therapy.

Direct. Easy to take care of paperwork. Appointments came through right away. I also got reminders.

Paola is easy to talk to, and doesn't always agree with my approach to things which I appreciate. She sets timelines for me to achieve certain goals, which I also like.

We just finished a couples counseling session, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful Lynne Huntley was. She’s incredibly smart, down to earth, and has a way of making you feel truly seen. She took the time to get to know us not just our challenges, but our strengths too and created a space where we both felt comfortable opening up. It’s rare to find someone who listens with such genuine care and insight. We walked away feeling understood, supported, and hopeful. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a counselor who really invests in you.

They allowed me to choose by having a synopsis for every provider so I could choose someone that seemed like a good match. I would appreciate even more notes as to the types of mental illness they have experienced and have no problem helping people with, to help guide people to the right provider. If only just a little. Make sure you note what type of caregiver you are looking for, medication provider or talk therapy. I wish they would have carried that heading along from screen to screen. Especially if you're looking for both like I was. This is for people like me with ADHD inattentive type. That's what I would have done had I developed these screens. Yes, I was an applications programmer before I retired.
