Greentoe has gotten me better prices than any other website including Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, etc. However, the shipping and communication experience is really, really poor. Some items take up to 2 weeks to receive. Greentoe is simply an intermediary and once your offer is accepted by a seller, the seller takes over, doesn't communicate well, doesn't deliver on a timely basis. And the seller just dumps it on a shipper who communicates less. You actually never hear from the seller, just get a shipping notice, faulty tracking data, and the shipment never arrives when they say it will. Have done it twice now for TV and it is a horrible shipping/customer service experience. Honestly, the savings are not worth the hassle. I probably would not do this ever again. I will just stick with Best Buy and Walmart, so much more straightforward and fast shipping.

Greentoe is a very hit-or-miss experience. First off, an explanation of how it supposedly works: you submit an offer for an item they list, and they bounce it to their partnered vendors and their vendors either accept the offer or bounce back a counter-offer. They have pre-set prices that they don't reveal to you that are basically auto-accept on offers. You get to fire back counter-offers and whatnot. Occasionally, you'll see "BUY NOW!" price listings, which means that you basically are being told what the lowest offer that's being accepted is that will work. The rules are, once a vendor accepts your offer, you are NOT allowed to speak about it to anyone or else they're allowed to cancel your order and ban you or w/e. All well and good, yes? I've had 3 orders through greentoe so far, and I have to say it is a very hit-or-miss experience. My first meh experience was with buying a watch -- it arrived with an internal scratch on the dial. Clearly a manufacturing defect, so luckily the vendor was willing to take it back for a full refund. I bought another one, which arrived fine. This was an instance of being lucky. The most recent order however, not so lucky. It's been over a week since my offer was accepted + credit card was charged. No updates on shipping. I've contacted both greentoe and the vendor for an update. No response. I decided to google and reddit reviews of said vendor, and that's where things started to smell fishy. Lots of shallow positive reviews of this store, but the negative reviews all have something in common: either no communication or rude communication, late responses, and that the store is selling either defects, or grey market (used) items as new. So it dawned on me that while sometimes prices look too good to be true, chances are, your gut just might be right. That being said, this is always going to depend on which vendor accepts your offer. Unfortunately, you only find out which vendor it is when the offer is accepted, and by then, you're already bound to the order. I'm going to think twice before using Greentoe in the future unless I just simply can't find the item I'm looking for elsewhere.

My first buy from Greentoe . Samsung HW-Q990D_za....this is usa version with usa warranty. What they sent me.... They sent me Q990D ZC...this is Canadian. Version. With canada warranty...no good in USA.... They gave me 150 dollars back for the screw up....I keep the sound bar. Was this screw up done on purpose or is this bait and switch?....I will leave it at this ...let's see what others post

I purchased a Garmin watch 10/16/21. I received a PO # a note that my offer was accepted and is being processed. But there was no information on who the retailer was and no way to track the status of the order. According to the website when I ordered the item should have been here within 7-10 days. There is no way to check the status of the order and no name of the retailer to contact. I've contacted Greenetoe twice about this and over a month later there is still no response. Horrible customer service, no information for following up with an order, no way to cancel the order! Extremely frustrating experience all around. I will never do business with this organization again! 11/26/21 - I am updating my comment and my rating. While I remain unhappy that I never received any response from Greentoe, I did discover that they had sent an email with payment instructions that ended up in a folder I rarely check buried behind a hundred other emails. So I cannot fault them about no product, but there was still no information about who the retailer was or a way to contact them.
