My experience with Great Resumes Fast was not exceptional. I was initially assigned to a resume writer in the Midwest (I am in CA) who missed both of our scheduled appointments. I complained/she bowed out, and I was reassigned to another writer in CA. I felt the first draft I received after our phone interview was wordy and the stats I had provided were not accurately presented. I responded with a fairly extensive edit, all of which was incorporated in the final draft. I would say that the final product and cover letter were ultimately acceptable, but time will tell what responses I receive. Finally, I would also say the process was not 'fast'. Because my assigned writer had to be replaced, the resume and cover letter took a little over 2 weeks to complete from start to finish.

I think Great Resumes Fast is an excellent service. However, I think the service should offer a 3 hour consultation versus 1.5 hour. I received great tips from the individual who serviced me about how to evaluate my own skills' background, and turn who I am into a personal marketing brand. The individual who provided the service was tactful, friendly and professional. She chose words to give uplifting descriptions of my professional background. I would choose the person who provided services as an interview coach, and/or career counselor as well. She was a person I was able to relate to, and made me feel very comfortable in speaking about my background. She was then able to extrapolate key information, especially due to her pristine listening skills. Great Resumes Fast is an excellent service, and a step in the right direction for anyone looking to amply define their life's accomplishments in the realm of work in a succinct and comprehensive manner.

Hello- I just received my first resume update. Also included was a cover letter. I am in a rush to complete this project, but I assumed it would be perfect right off the bat. There were a few run-on sentences and a few sentences that didn't properly blend with the entire resume. I did send A LOT of money with this company, and don't feel that the price I paid was worth what I received in return. I did pay for thank you letters, along with a 'blast' to a WW list of recruiters. That hasn't happened yet, as we are still finalizing everything. Overall, my resume does look a lot better, maybe I just had unclear expectations for the $1k I paid.
