Clearly above expectation. I was genuinely impressed with Kate's work. Lots of strategic insights (how to structure summary, selecting optimal words, selecting right experience, etc.) and attention to details (formatting, header/footer, page split, boarders/colors, etc.) which I have never been aware of after reading some resume-writing books and taking tutorials. I thought I would have never been able to reach this quality of resume by myself even after spending several years on trial-and-error, without her help. After a few months, resume and LinkedIn have been very powerful and effective, and have led to multiple strong inquiries and helped the interview process significantly, leading to a strong offer and a few interviews ongoing. For the first-time users, to maximize the impact and accelerate the process, a few suggestions/tips would be: 1. Fully leverage your past existing resumes and documents and share with the consultant, rather than only relying on the phone interview 2. Explicitly and proactively tell the big picture, strategy, intention, background, concerns, target companies/positions, etc. at the initial interview, rather than just answering what you are asked. The more you share the holistic picture, the sharper/deeper the output will be, and you will end up spending less time for revisions later. 3. It's okay and probably necessary to run a few cycles of revisions and tweaks to get to the honed final output. First draft is 80-90% quality, but final 10-20% will be done through 2nd and 3rd drafts, ironing out minor nuances, wording, and visuals. 4. If you are not sure about some ideas/strategies of the consultant, it's totally okay and appropriate to ask the intention behind that. I found most of the time she had deeper insights/expertise which I wasn't aware of, but knowing it was very helpful and enhanced my confidence. It's more an interactive/collaborative teamwork, rather than just throwing an order and output coming automatically/mechanically. Develop trust with each other through the process.
