Keri was a fantastic resume writer and is appreciated the white globe services, but ultimately do not feel the serivces are worth the price tag. I desperately wanted out of my old job and am young in my career. I turned to them on a recommendation but quickly felt the process was better aligned to a high-level, experienced employee than someone like me. The process involves a lot of input and being able to dictate the exact next job you want. I felt it required more effort than if I redid my resume myself. At the time I was working full time, looking for a new job in my spare time and networking heavily. I just did not have the bandwidth. I was told to make my resume pages and their recommendations typically went against every piece of advice hiring managers had given me which felt odd. It was difficult for me to trust the process and I ultimately felt it wasn’t a good fit. It took almost 3 months for me to get all the final documents I did attempt to express my grievances and was told I had to wait. Overall, I just think it wasnt a good fit and based on my research there are other companies with much more affordable options and better work.

I don't feel like I got my money's worth. Although they offer a professional service, took the time to ask my questions and diligently listened I feel the end product was OK. Just not worth what they're charging. The cover letter was a template instead of a well-written summary of my skills ect. For the price I paid I should have gotten a well-written cover letter with a stellar resume. It's just average.

My experience with Great Resumes Fast was not exceptional. I was initially assigned to a resume writer in the Midwest (I am in CA) who missed both of our scheduled appointments. I complained/she bowed out, and I was reassigned to another writer in CA. I felt the first draft I received after our phone interview was wordy and the stats I had provided were not accurately presented. I responded with a fairly extensive edit, all of which was incorporated in the final draft. I would say that the final product and cover letter were ultimately acceptable, but time will tell what responses I receive. Finally, I would also say the process was not 'fast'. Because my assigned writer had to be replaced, the resume and cover letter took a little over 2 weeks to complete from start to finish.

Hello- I just received my first resume update. Also included was a cover letter. I am in a rush to complete this project, but I assumed it would be perfect right off the bat. There were a few run-on sentences and a few sentences that didn't properly blend with the entire resume. I did send A LOT of money with this company, and don't feel that the price I paid was worth what I received in return. I did pay for thank you letters, along with a 'blast' to a WW list of recruiters. That hasn't happened yet, as we are still finalizing everything. Overall, my resume does look a lot better, maybe I just had unclear expectations for the $1k I paid.

I was excited to finally get my resume revamped but once I spoke with the person who was going to work on it my confidence level dropped a bit. I had to explain to her about the department I was interested. The job positions I am interested in is fairly well known. I didn't expect her to be an expert but she didn't seem to know anything about it. It would have been nice if she knew at least a little about it. Prior to our talk she asked me to email her some job listings I was interested in. I would have thought she would do some research on those before we had a verbal talk. The final resume looked good but I definitely haven't had the guaranteed response I expected. Luckily Jessica has been very understanding and is going to have my resume re-written. We shall see!

Great people to work with. Very nice and pleasant. However, once you have "left" their system you are history. After some months, they do not return calls. I'm an IT person so I don't know what the experience would be like if I was some other profession. Their written work is good to a point, however once you have been in the job application system, I found the Resume is too flowery. I had other IT professionals read and assess the work and they all agreed, cut the cologne. IT people want the bare facts. What do you know and what can you do? I had another successful IT hiring person assist me in a complete re-write and I had more calls. I paid the fee for them to post my resume on career sites. That did nothing for me. I never received an email or call from their work.
