Ordered dining table and 6 stools the beginning of November 2021 and received the table and 4 stools in late December and were told the other 2 would be in shortly. Here we are the 7th of February and still not received. We also know that another customer got the same stools off the floor before us even though they weren't supposed to be taken off the floor. Cancelled 2 stools.

I purchase a sectional back in September (at the Newport News grands) it was on back order for a couple of months. Understandable no problem went back in and the sales person swap me out into a sectional similar that they had in stock.. outstanding… here where the issue start..the day of delivery which was the beginning of November they sent out these ghetto men to deliver my furniture. Not only did they damage the furniture when they cut the box open they damage my tile on my floor. Not only did I basically just moved into the apartment I am gonna have to pay for the damages when I move out… I contacted grands today 01/26/2022 and the lady said it is out of their hands.. What type of professionalism is that. She place me on hold for about a hour getting a supervisor and one never came to the phone. I wouldn’t recommend no one getting from Grand unless your u have your own movers because grands do t take responsibility of their employees whom they hire to do the moving

This is for a lift chair purchased at Grand Home Furnishings in Winchester, VA. Lift chair, purchased for 86 year old mother, took weeks to arrive, with no date promised for delivery. Delivery truck personnel were rude and very unhelpful. Turned out the chair was not what my mother had hoped for. When called Trudy Dye, to schedule return, all we got was the systems were down. Worst experience ever and would not purchase, recommend or even drive by.

Customer service is terrible. Office associates are rude and unprofessional. They won't send you a bill or set you up with ebills then want you to remember the random due date and when you don't pay it on time they send you a threatening letter. I called to simply ask when was my bill sent by email or mail and they said we don't do that we are paperless. Tried to speak to a manager regarding the billing practices and they were extremely rude and didn't listen to me at all. Filed a BBB complaint regarding the billing practices and they haven't responded in weeks. Still waiting since early June on replacement coffee table since my showed up damaged. Still havent recvd my coffee table on back order with no updates on eta. Reply below is not accurate. I do have an acct and this was meant for Grand Home Furnishings. Happy to take a call from management to resolve these issues. I am sure the team in Newport News VA can pull up my acct.

On 9/20/2017 I purchased a Lazyboy Reclining Sofa at the Bristol, VA store that run right at $1300.00. The salesman told me that for $179.99 if needed I could have the sofa cleaned one time within 5 years and if not the $179.99 would be refunded to me. I didn't think I would ever need to have it cleaned but it was added protection so I took it. Just over a year later I was in the hospital & rehab for 66 days & come home with a Colostomy which is a bag that by-passes your bowels. 1 or 2 times a weeks that bag had to be changed & it was always done where I sat on that sofa. A year later that Colostomy was reversed. Although we always put pads under me when the bag was changed I felt I needed to have the sofa cleaned. When I went to see about having that done Grand told me another company handled that & they would only clean visible stains that can be seen on the sofa. There are no visible stains but there has to be stains that can not be seen and possibly a smell. At 86 years old my smeller is long gone. After finding out I can't have it cleaned I noticed where at the end of the 5 years if not cleaned I will be given a store credit for the $179.99 so I am out that amount as I would never buy anything from Grand ever again & over the past 20 years I have spent probably $20,000 there. So be forewarned if you ever buy anything from Grand and they try to sell you this protection plan DON'T DO IT.

I ordered a couch on August 14, 2020 and paid in full immediately. As of February 19, 2021 I still do not have my couch and every time I talk to them I keep being given a later arrival date. If I could give this company negative stars, I would. I am so beyond frustrated and considering legal action at this point. They have certainly lost me as a customer and I have done my best to spread the word to everyone I know about my horrible experience with them.

I purchased a sofa in September and been paying for it and it has yet to be delivered. I also purchased 2 recliners and they are also not delivered. If you are wanting items this year you need to go elsewhere. If I get my items I’ll review on the quality. Unfortunately that day may never come.

Went today after a very tiring day at work to purchase a sofa during their sale. Went in wearing faded jeans and a tshirt. Went straight to the sofa i wanted to purchase.. with CASH by the way.. waited around and wasted a half hour with no one even bothering to come to the area i was in much less if i needed any assistance. Whats the rule about not judging a book by its cover..??!! It was the Johnson City store and i have just 2 words for them... screw Grand!! Will NEVER waste my time on them again!!
