Outstanding Service - 5 stars!
I could not recommend these guys more - our trip was a success from start to finish and every single element that they helped with was brilliant. The team both in the UK and in country were fabulous and they are absolutely worth every penny. Thank you so much for the Trip of a Lifetime!!

Tanzania Safari 2019
The whole experinece from the moment we contacted Gorrila Safari Company- on the recommendation of a friend, was completely stress free, everything was taken care of. They managed to ensure we had family rooms for the entire holiday. All the staff at each accomodation were fantastic and went out of their way to make sure we were fine. A special mention to our guide Joseph, he was excellent, so knowledgeable about the wildlife and culture and really engaged with us and the kids.

Gorillas, the Big 5 and more thanks to Gorilla Safari Company...
Going to Africa for a month required expert guidance to check off every box on my wish list and, thanks to Donna and Kate at The Gorilla Safari Company, it was the trip of a lifetime that I had hoped it would be. It took 30 years to finally get to the continent to experience the magnificent mountain gorillas (3 treks!), the great migration crossings and the Big 5. In keeping with the concept of "Traveling with Purpose", we requested a mixture of luxury and tent lodges that were operated by organizations devoted to conservation, education or cultural efforts and The Gorilla Safari Company gave us amazing options and guidance in choosing the best lodging so that every experience was truly rewarding. Throughout Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda, we kept marveling at how the lodge choices, game drives and guides and were perfect 10's. Donna and Kate made sure to discuss every detail required for customizing the trip to meet our needs and vision. They also created seamless transfers which was no small task considering we were doing multiple border crossings and staying in Laikipia, Samburu, the Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorogoro Crater, Nairobi, Kigali, Musanze and Gahinga. I'm an avid traveller but I could never have created this exceptional level of an adventure without The Gorilla Safari Company. The best part is that Donna and Kate were there for us every step of the way through the planning AND during the trip itself. Thanks to their careful planning, we saw the Big 5, an enormous migration river crossing with thousands of wildebeests and zebra, elephant orphanages and rhino sanctuaries and women's micro businesses. Already thinking of dates for a return trip and wouldn't do anything in Africa without Donna and Kate!

Kate and the entire team at The Gorilla Safari Company were excellent! They were a pleasure to work with and made our travel in Africa absolutely seamless. They even left a few surprises for us at the beginning and end of our trip, and overall, made us feel completely supported throughout our time in Kenya and Tanzania. The personal attention and care was really unmatched. I can't imagine having taken this once-in-a-lifetime trip without their guidance and support.

Adventure of a lifetime!
Working with Donna & Amanda was seamless from start to finish! They arranged the most amazing trip! Uganda is full of wonderful animals, colorful birds and kind people. Amos, our guide, was knowledgeable and funny and I left my safari with 3 new friends! I’ve not mentioned the gorillas because words cannot describe these amazing creatures. I’m SO thankful I was able to take this adventure!!

Rwanda and Tanzania
We wanted to see the gorillas in Rwanda as well as to spend time in Ruaha, Tanzania but were not sure best to make that work - The Gorilla Safari Company put it all together perfectly. We loved every day of our trip, and Donna and Amanda were a pleasure to deal with. Our memories will be extremely positive (to put it mildly...)!
