The Gorilla Safari CompanyReviews of gorillasafaricompany.com

The Gorilla Safari Company put together and excellent trip for me and my girlfriend. I specified that I wanted to fly between most destinations and limit driving time. The accommodated us with no issues and all connections, drivers and accommodations were excellent. With these types of trips things can go wrong of the tour company is not experienced in the country and culture. This company did a great job making sure everything ran smooth with no hiccups. The highlight was the gorilla trek experience! These animals are magnificent and words cannot describe the whole experience.

The Gorilla Safari Company did a great job arranging our trip to Uganda and Kenya. The activities they arranged exceeded all our expectations. We stayed in several lodges, some were better than others, but on the whole I can't complain. Donna and Amanda are both very knowledgeable and helpful. Our guide Emma was top notch! I would highly recommend this company to anyone planning an African vacation.

I do a lot of world travel, and this was one of the best trips I have ever been on. From the beginning, their attention to detail was obvious. They saved me money by suggesting I trek in Uganda, but still found me some spectacular lodgings. Every step of the way someone was there to guide and accompany me, even though I was a solo traveler. There were several border crossings where everyone else seemed to be be hanging up, but I had all my visas and immunization records at hand thanks to their advice...and sailed through. I liked the way they kept e-mailing me throughout the days leading up to the trip to be certain I was ready. And the experience, with the gorillas, golden monkeys, and Batwa village were all just outstanding. Because they do so much business in the area, I just seemed to get special treatment from everyone. In the Mghinga National Park, I stayed in a 4 room bungalow where they built a fire for me and placed hot water bottles in my bed. The food was fantastic, and I heard later they had upgraded me because they like the company so much. It just pays to travel with someone that plans a lot of it and is so respected in the area, and it certainly made for a first class experience!

The service provided by The Gorilla Safari Company was EXCELLENT! Donna and Amanda were able to listen to what we wanted to do and then plan and suggest the trip accordingly. The hotels, lodges, air and road transportation they chose were perfect as well as all the activities, from a zip line in Tanzania (considering we were traveling with three teenagers) to game drives, to a school visit in Uganda everything was taken care of. The Gorilla Safari Company offers an App through which we were able to have all the details of our trip, this was very helpful. If we did this trip again we would do it exactly the same! THANK YOU!

Trip was awesome. We saw tons of animals very close We got great photos of the big 5 and soooo much more Including dung beetles millipedes birds monkeys hippos crocks and on and on. Every where we looked there was something to see From the local people to the scenery to the plethora of wildlife it was nonstop. The gorilla trecking was steep and slippery but sooo worth the effort. Great photos only feet away Definitely hire the porters I am pretty fit and still was glad we had them.

The accommodations were very nice. The staff at the Mahinga Lodge were very gracious and accommodating. Our guide, Mbabazi, who picked us up in Rwanda and stayed with us for the entire trip was great and took very good care of us. The gorillas were fantastic. I hope to go back!

Donna & Amanda were a pleasure to work with. I didn't want pre arranged trip and want to see a lot in a short time. Gorilla safari was able to piece together everything I wanted with great hotels and camps. The holiday went smoothly and the recommdationswere spot on. The itinerary on the app worked flawless. I will be working with them again for sure.

Great trip. Loved Dickson, our guide'
