A National Geographic Moment Every Day
We have done over 20 game safaris in multiple countries. This safari to the Serengeti to see the migration, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Rwanda Volcanos National Park walking with the Gorillas was the most exciting African adventure we have been on. It is impossible to describe the 4 crossings of the Mara river when crocodiles took a wildebeest, lions with 4 cubs at a kill, being in close contact with a family of 17 gorillas including a large Silverback, following families of elephant, leopard and cheetah sightings, hyena and vultures at a kill and so many different deer and buck that they were uncountable. The accommodations were all fantastic, the meals delicious to the point where we asked for recipes. Although we were concerned about COVID before we left even though we were vaccinated we had no concerns while we were there. Most of the rangers and guides were vaccinated and masks and social distancing was common especially in Rwanda. COVID eliminated the crowds so we often had camps almost to ourselves. The service we received from Amanda at Gorilla Safari Company was outstanding and we would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Africa as commonly shown on National Geographic videos.

Wow, Scott, thank you, this is praise indeed from someone so well-travelled in Africa. Your game viewing really was spectacular and well worth the wait! Thank you for such a fabulous review, it's just brilliant to get this sort of feedback again after such a long time without anyone travelling. Please do keep in touch as we would welcome the chance to work with you again.
