Fabulous Trip by Go Real Europe to Prague, Cesky Krumlov, Vienna and Budapest
We booked our trip on line from Salem, MA, USA based on the personalized travel itinary model they prepared. Martin and the team arranged every detail of our special trip. The Hotels were very nice, the tour guides extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant and the suggested itineraries very flexible. They arranged all the transports; all very dependable and friendly. Overall, we spent 11 fabulous days visiting 3 very interesting countries. I would highly recommend Go Real Europe and would use them again if visiting Eastern Europe.

WOW!
I would recommend them to anyone without reservation. My wife and I traveled with another couple through Prague, Cesky Krumlov, Salzburg, Vienna, Budapest and Krakow. Everything was delivered as promised and often exceeded our expectations.

Standing Ovation
WOW - what an awesome experience Thanks to GoRealEurope. We only had 4 days in Salzburg and they treated us like we were booking a month. Our accommodation was Old World as requested - my husband raves to all our friends about this 450 year old home - not to mention that it was only a 10 minute walk from "Old Town". They even called us the evening that we arrived to make sure that we had arrived safely as they were concerned about the refugee situation. We had been booked to travel from Munich to Salzburg and back by train and they switched us to the bus at no extra cost - not to mention how stress free it was for us. Friends didn't use the services of GoRealEurope and ended up with the railway shutting down and their only option was to fly - very pricey for them. We had our own personal quide the morning after we arrived which was arranged by GoRealEurope - what a perfect introduction. The remainder of our days we followed the detailed instructions that were provided for self guided tours - never went wrong once!! It was the most memorable, amazing four days of our lives. Thank you ever so much!!!

Our Prague to Budapest Trip
We found Go Real Europe to be excellent. Our trip to Prague, Cesky Krumlov, Salzburg, Vienna and Budapest was a great adventure with just the right amount of individual support while not being part of a big tour group. All the hotels were excellent, the travel arrangements by rail and private car all occurred without a hitch. We talked ahead of time with our tour coordinator Martin about our preferences and his suggested itinerary proved to be ideal. We have recommended the use of Go Real Europe to our friends. Martin was very helpful and we enjoyed our Prague beer tasting tour with him.

My Fab Eastern Europe Holiday
We had an amazing holiday. GoReal Europe helped us with our itenerary, booked all our accomodation based on what we requested and planned all our on ground transport such as booking the train to travel between countries and tickets for the buses trams metro etc. the itenerary also included lots of suggestions and recommendations on things to see and do which was great, at most of the countries when we arrived there was a 3 hour guided tour which highlighted the points if interest and gave you tips in public tranport directions, this arrangement worked for us as we wanted to explore the things that interested us the most. Of course the highlight of the trip was a beer tasting guided tour with Martin, seriously he called that work, what a job! Seriously it was the best and remains in my memory as a highlight of the holiday in Prague. Perhaps a wine tasting tour in Budapest could be included in future Mikloscsabi flowers and wine place could be a start. I loved every moment of it and would certainty enlist the help of GoReal Europe again. Bring it on.

Go Real Europe provides the best experience one could have.
My name is Kathryn, and my friend Margherita and I booked our European trip through Go Real Europe. We were totally impressed—I would even say amazed—by the thoroughness and expertise of the Go Real Europe team. Even though we arrived in Prague two days late due to a series of errors on my part, the Go Real Europe team quickly sprang into action to rearrange our hotel reservations and car pickup and guide schedules. Upon our finally arriving in Prague, a driver met us at the airport and drove us to the Hotel Kampa Garden, a cozy, comfortable inn in the heart of a neighborhood of winding cobblestone streets and lovely squares with quaint restaurants. The hotel had naturally given away our original rooms, but they were able to offer us a choice between the best suite in the hotel (the “honeymoon suite”) and a 2-bedroom, 1-bath suite, the latter of which we gratefully took. The breakfast spread was sumptuous, and the people at the Kampa Garden Hotel are very accommodating (as evidenced by how they handled the room change); you can tell they take pains to make you happy.
The guided tour of the core city gave us an overview of the history and layout of Prague, all through old and new town and the Royal Route up to the Prague Castle. The young people who conducted the tour were pleasant and knowledgeable. What they couldn’t include in the tour was covered very thoroughly and in great detail in the Go Real Europe itinerary package, as well as passes to all local transportation.
When it was time to leave Prague, a car service picked us up at our hotel and dropped us at the train station for our trip to Vienna. The Go Real Europe itinerary included our rail tickets as well as detailed instructions on how to navigate the Prague Main Station. Also very important were the instructions about the Vienna train station (among several stops) where we were to get off.
Go Real Europe had reserved accommodations for us in Vienna at a small pension, the Hotel Continental, located just off Mariahilfer Strabe, a pedestrian mall of modern department stores. Nearby was an underground station where we could access all other parts of the city using the excellent map, detailed instructions and free passes provided by the Go Real Europe team. The hotel manager and staff were very helpful and accommodating, and the breakfasts they provided in the lovely dining room were quite pleasant.
On the first day in Vienna, instead of going on a walking tour with the Go Real Europe guide, we chose to meet her at the famous Café Ritter, a traditional cafe with chandeliers & polished wood, serving Viennese dishes, cake & specialty teas and coffees, established in 1867. We enjoyed coffee and tortes (never mind the Sacher Torte—go straight to the Mozart Torte, a divine concoction of pistachio, chocolate and marzipan brushed with Mozart liqueur) while our guide gave us a virtual tour of Vienna with maps, history and other details. On our walk back to the hotel, our guide graciously took us to a telephone store and helped Margherita purchase a telephone that could be used in Europe.
On our own, with the ever-valuable maps, instructions and tickets provided by Go Real Europe, we were able to navigate every part of the city and see everything we could throughout the time we were there.
While in Vienna, Margherita somehow chipped and cracked a front tooth. We asked the manager of the Hotel Continental to recommend a dentist that she could see on an emergency basis (this was our last day in Vienna). He gave us her name---she was no more than 2 blocks away from the hotel--and we just showed up when she opened that morning. We expected that perhaps she could put a temporary crown or something to last until we got home. She took Margherita in immediately and fixed the tooth permanently, not temporarily, in about 15 minutes. And to our amazement, she refused any payment. Her name and address are: Renata Matejka, Mariahilfer St. 47-5, 1060 Vienna Austria
Leaving Vienna for Budapest by rail, we were able to find the correct platform and train wagon by referencing the explicit instructions provided by Go Real Europe. Again we were provided with rail tickets and instructions on how to use them. Upon our arrival in Budapest, a driver was waiting to take us to the Hotel Central Basilica, a lovely modern inn tucked into a row of shops and lively restaurants in a cobblestone square adjacent to St. Stephen’s Basilica.
Next day, Margherita preferred to explore at her own pace, so I joined the Go Real Europe guide on a tour of Budapest. Winding through the streets of Budapest, we took in the State Opera House, the Alexandra bookstore and café, Franz Liszt Square, and other curious out-of-the-way spots that our guide enjoyed pointing out, as they were not the usual tourist places. She took me to visit Varosliget Park, Szechenyi Baths and the impressive Heroes Square with its splendid statues of the fierce looking Magyars and later historical personages.
We then boarded the metro for a trip up to Buda’s hilltop Castle District, an ancient walled village centered upon St. Matthias church with its splendid mosaic roof, the statue of King Stephen, and the turreted castle walls.
Margherita and I had a wonderful time exploring Budapest on our own using the map, recommendations, instructions and transit passes provided by Go Real Europe.
I would say we had the perfectly-planned trip—a good balance of guided tours and free time. The itinerary package the Go Real Europe team put together was complete: important things to do prior to the trip, tips on currency exchange, what to expect in each city, even appropriate tipping. The maps and transit tickets were invaluable. We were amazed and grateful for the expertise of the Go Real Europe team and the responsibility they showed for our care, safety and comfort.
I tell everyone about Go Real Europe. For those who want to avoid the “herd” of group tours, but still need some (or a lot of, in our case) direction, Go Real Europe provides the best experience one could have.

It focused us on the most spectacular points of each destination we visited.
The fact that we could customize the trip to where we wanted to go and to be placed in the central downtowns of those locations made this a great trip. Easy walking distance or public transportation to each location on the map. The use of trains was not my favorite due to the 8 people in our group so the private van transportation to and from Prague was the most enjoyable of the travelling. The side excursion to the Salt Mines was fantastic and our favorite cities were Vienna and Prague.
