Fabulous 10 Day trip in Europe.

Other than a slight mix-up regarding a hotel bill, which was resolved in reasonable time, The tour and the guides were excellent. The itinerary provided gave a good base for exploring the venues visited. The guides for the the guided excursions were knowledgeable and friendly. Both Gabriela and Angelika were a delight during the tours. I am not a fan of group tours since I find them very restrictive, this combination of self-guided and tour guided excursions fit the bill for our trip to a tee. The accommodation provided was excellent and the transportation vouchers provided gave us the freedom to see everything we had planned to visit. It is a memorable experience. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time on our 23 day adventure in Central Europe visiting Munich, Salzburg, Vienna, Ljubljana, Lake Bled, Budapest, Krakow, Prague, and Český Krumlov. We want to thank Martin Wagner and the whole Go Real Europe team for the fantastic planning of the trip and the great service we received with the one issue that came up during the trip. The hotels selected by Martin were perfect - exactly what we were hoping for. All were in great locations, all were clean and comfortable and all had uniformly good breakfasts. The locations were key and being unfamiliar with the cities, it would have been difficult for us to find these accommodations independently. The itinerary that Martin put together was well thought out and we enjoyed visiting the many recommended sites. We did find that it would be impossible to cover as much as was recommended simply due to the time limitations in a day. That being said, we picked through the many options and did as much as we could comfortably manage, while still allowing enough time for people watching from a sunny patio while enjoying a local beverage. We were incredibly lucky to have fantastic weather. The very detailed itinerary prepared by Go Real (200 pages +) and the wonderful maps for many of the cities were much appreciated, as were the local transit tickets/passes. For us the highlight in each city was the private walking tour with a local guide arranged by Go Real. Such an excellent way to get a feel for the cities before doing much exploring ourselves. Without exception, the guides were good to excellent, with great historical knowledge passed on in a most engaging manner. We felt awfully smug when we would pass a tour group with 25+ people! Transit arrangements were excellent, with only one logistics problem that was managed by Go Real to our complete satisfaction. We would not hesitate to recommend this company. When we first found them on the internet, we were uncertain as to whether we were making a good choice. Having now completed a wonderful, virtually trouble free trip we are very glad we chose Go Real Europe. Thank you to the entire Go Real Europe team!

Have just completed a 5 week trip through Eastern Europe with Go Real Europe. We found them easy to communicate with in the planning stages and helpful when there was a problem - such as down loading our tickets in Australia. We didn’t encounter any problems whilst traveling but they stayed in touch so I’m sure we could have contacted them with the numbers they had given us. I would especially like to commend the local guides, they were all excellent and really gave you a feel for the city. We visited Berlin, Warsaw, Krackow, Budapest, Vienna, Cresky Krumlov and Prague. You felt very spoilt having your own private guide compared to most people in large groups. The guides were enthusiastic, local and knowledgeable, they also showed you how to use the local public transport with the tickets provided. Our hotels were all well positioned in the guidelines we had set. Initially it was stressful traveling by train, finding to right platform and in some countries the staff were more helpful than others but we had no major problems and became more confident especially knowing you would be picked at the other end of the journey. The company provides great maps with very useful information. There wasn’t one yet for Berlin or Warsaw. We booked a few extra tours from the large range onoffer but mainly did our getting around. There are plenty of suggestions of excursions offered and you would be doing well to get through half of them. Personal highlights were Warsaw, Prague and Budapest and not being constrained to a tour group and schedule. Very efficient, helpful and great value.Anne- Marie Strain and Tom Magee

Just returned from our 11 day journey to Prague, Cesky Krumlov, Vienna and Budapest. We highly recommend traveling with Go Real Europe. Karolina was wonderful answering my emails promptly, giving great suggestions such as traveling down the Danube from Melk to Krems and then taking a train to Vienna. Beautiful journey and one I was hesitant to take due to the logistics but made very simple as you could not go wrong with their directions and suggestions. Go Real Europe provided very explicit details on getting about in each city. We had wonderfully located hotels in each city our favorites being the Hotel Savic in Prague and Hotel Stefanie in Vienna. Go Real Europe made our trip manageable and took the stress out of getting from place to place. The drivers were prompt, helpful and courteous. The private guided tours with Marta and Marie in Prague, Vicky in Cesky Krumlov and Dorka,(sp) in Budapest were very interesting, knowledge filled and just the right amount of time. We had one hotel glitch which was resolved after calling David. He followed up with us to make sure all was ok. I look forward to another trip to Europe in the future and booking with Go Real Europe once again. Am glad they are expanding their territory.

I had a wonderful trip to Budapest with Go Real Europe. Martin was very accommodating during the planning stages as my travel dates were up in the air and kept changing. The hotel was great, and very accommodating providing me with additional resources. The guides were very knowledgeable and enjoyed the small group. My itinerary was quite full and I wasn’t able to do everything on it. But had lots of options to explore on my own. While in Prague I was able to meet the whole team who were all quite personable and helpful. I plan on using Go Real Europe on my next trip to Prague in December for a Christmas Market tour and am very excited to start planning it. I would highly recommend Martin and the whole Go Real Europe team to anyone looking to simplify travel plans.

Clay and the Go Real Europe team provided us with an excellent itinerary you establish together, great hotels, and very skilled specific directions and travel info. It was a wonderful travel experience and I thank Clay Copeland for making it exactly what we wanted to do and see. I highly recommend this group.

This trip was most enjoyable, with my eight-year-old grandsons having an enormously enjoyable time. The Prague Zoo and Budapest Children's run railway were two highlights. The boys particularly liked the two guides we had in Budapest and Prague. Our guide in Vienna I thought was great but the boys thought she "talked too slow." The overnight train trip was fine, but not being able to get into our hotel room until 2:00 pm was disconcerting, particularly when we were pretty beat. Unfortunately, the hotel in Budapest has only a faint acquaintance with air conditioning. Temperature in the room rarely fell below 23.5 even after I complained to the front desk three times. All of the hotels were centrally located and modern. One big complaint I had with Go Real Europe was that, even after submitting the boys' passports and repeatedly stating that they were identical twins, was that every hotel had them listed as brothers, aged eight and one. We found a crib rather than a bed in each hotel. The hotels were quick to correct the discrepancy but we should not have had to wait for them to do so. I would definitely recommend Go Real Europe again, but would try hard to ensure that they had our information correct.
