Great way to communicate with the breeder. Great vetting process of the breeder and I liked the consumer protection that it gave me as the buyer.

The clients who found puppies on Good Dogs from Pomegranate Doodles were serious about adopting the puppies. Good Dog does an excellent job of seriously screening adopters. The questions asked by potential adopters were thoughtful and insightful about their interest in the puppies. I will use Good Dog with the next litter for sure!

GoodDog is the best way to find your dog. Simply open it, put in the breed you want, and you will see breeder after breeder listed with that breed and pics of the pups they have an available. And how far they are from you starting waiting the closest to the furthest away. However, I found the website and communications frustrating.

We found lovely homes for all 5 of our puppies by 9 weeks of age. All the people we connected with were kind, willing to pick up on time and provided payment quickly and safely through Good Dog. We spent a good deal of time responding to potential buyer that would ghost us after a new questions but it was well worth it to find the truly interested buyers sprinkled here and there between. If they were willing to do a FaceTime call or meet the pups in person it was almost always a sale. I'd recommend requiring that before proceeding with too much communication. Easy to use and update your site, fun to highlight your litter through the litter update tab each week and seeing stats on your performance was helpful. Good Dog always responded to all my calls/texts within 24 hours and was so friendly!

It is easy you just have to place your puppies on Good Dog and they do the rest. Good Dog is a wonderful company we needed badly. I have nothing bad to say about it

Good dog is a rip off. They have outrageous fees for both the buyer and the seller. And if you want to avoid the fees and pay in a different way, Good dog threatens to delete your account. They also “require” all conversations to stay on their platform, so they can monitor you, but yet their messaging system sucks and sometimes I can’t even see the message without going to my email. Pictures and videos are super hard to share. But they threaten to delete your account if you don’t comply. They also harass customers by constantly sending reminder emails to get back to the breeder after a message is sent and also emails to send a deposit before they have even communicated with the breeder. This makes breeders look like scammers! They also allow deposits to be sent before the breeder has even approved the buyer and if the breeder sends them a refund, they automatically lose the fees that good dog deducted from it. And before Good dog comes and says I can contact them with my issues, yeah I’ve done that, and they do not care or help. Just give lame excuses to justify how they are ripping people off and try to make you think they deserve it somehow. But this is THE ONLY dog selling platform that charges these kinds of fees!! Go somewhere else and save yourself a few hundred dollars when buying a puppy!
