This app has helped me expand my breeding business and teach me new things. The convenience and support that Good Dog has given me is beyond what I thought it would be and they continue to improve and to make it better all the time. I cannot say enough great things about them.

Very helpful in finding the right puppy for you
Love Our New P.
We really enjoyed seeing the dogs being offered locally and beyond. Upon falling in love with a puppy photo, we reached out to the breeder. It was mildly off-putting that the photos listed weren't the actual dogs available. We proceeded and picked a new friend that we love. The next hiccup was a co-breeder was involved, though not listed. This made communications tough to navigate for a first time buyer. We weren't sure if the setup was legit. As the process moved forward, they weren't clear through the buying/pickup/shots process who was on first. It was tough to setup a clear pickup time, and even more challenging to get the registration and shots records a couple of weeks after we'd picked up our little pup.

The people are very informative and helpful. An overall good experience.

I received Rambo from Tessa Corley out of Athens Texas from County Road Dachshunds. He’s the sweetest boy ever and Tessa would send weekly updated pictures of Rambo. To say that he is everything that I needed in my life would be an understatement. 10-10 would recommend using county road dachshunds!!!

I had put a deposit down on a puppy, but due to losing a job could not complete the purchase at the time. The breeder was kind enough to let me apply the deposit to another dog when my situation changed. When I brought the puppy home I had suspicions about him being a puppy mill dog. He was the only dog present the day I picked up. He also barks, a LOT. This is my 3rd Havanese (the other 2 bought from a very reputable breeder who just didn't have one ready when I wanted a chocolate) and neither of the others barked AT ALL until they were over 6 months old. This puppy barks all night (even in my room, with a nightlight) and any time I leave the room. My suspicions were confirmed when I finally opened up the canine health record and a different breeder name and phone was listed on the CKC registration form (which I've read is a huge puppy mill supporter) This puppy is adorable, but not nearly as well socialized as my older 2 were at 9 weeks. The breeder is not who she represented herself to be, and Good Dog facilitates this scam.

Hi Susan, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us! We are so sorry you did not have the best experience during puppy pick-up and that your pup is having a hard time adjusting. All of our featured breeders have been screened to ensure they meet community standards set by our team of veterinary and animal welfare experts. Many breeders will register their litters through the CKC (or Canadian Kennel Club) as an alternative to the AKC. We’d love to answer any questions you have about the differences between the two registry services. Also, since you paid for your pup through Good Dog with Protection & Support, we would love to direct you towards our Puppy Training Program - a world-class training program with online courses, live coaching, and detailed guides aimed at helping you raise a healthy, happy dog. This program and our Puppy Coach will have some great advice to address your barking and socialization concerns. Please reach out to us anytime at [email protected] or give us a call at 855.446.6363. We’re sorry again about the experience you've had so far, but look forward to speaking with you soon & hopefully turning your experience into a positive one! Warmly, The Good Dog Team

I have received 3 emails from Samantha with pictures of the puppies. I made a deposit that was accepted. I have been waiting for instructions of when we can drive down to see the puppies. We live 1 hour away, but I haven’t got a reply to my emails. We are excited about the prospect of welcoming Nellie into our lives. As of now we are just waiting on instructions.

I am very pleased with Good Dog. The breeders who contacted me were pleasant and easy to work with. What I really liked was if one breeder did not have any puppies available, they were quick to refer me to another breeder who might have what I was looking for. I did not experience any rivalry whatsoever amongst breeders. I had a great experience and will be bringing my puppy home soon!
