We were hoping to adopt black Labrador puppies, but for months had no luck finding a breeder in our area. We were hesitant in going online to search, due to not knowing the reputation of a breeder. Finally, a good friend with a chocolate lab connected us to her breeder in Connecticut. From there, the breeder shared the Good Dog site. Within two days of emailing names listed on the site, an answer arrived. The woman shared an email for a breeder she thought might have some black Labrador puppies in an upcoming litter. We contacted this person — filled out a questionnaire and were lucky enough to reserve a spot to purchase the puppies. These are the healthiest, most beautiful dogs. Even the veterinarians commented on the excellent breed of our puppies. It was the Good Dog site that made this all possible.

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!!! They just took $2800 out of my account randomly when I am NOT getting a puppy from them. My boyfriend and I were looking into getting a puppy about a month ago and put down a deposit. We then canceled on getting the puppy because it was not the right time for us and good dog took the money out of my account anyway. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR CARD INFORMATION!!! PLEASE!!! I am in a terrible mess with my bank now thanks to good dog.

Joval kennels sold me a puppy that had to be euthanized 10 days later due to hydrocephalus, she would not give a replacement puppy. Worst experience ever

I ran into an unexpected charge for a deposit on a dog - before I was ready to commit to that. It was a stressful experience, but I will say that the customer service team figured it out within 24 hours and made it right. Read the fine print, but these folks have their hearts in the right place.

I was a member of Good Dog for 2 years. All of a sudden they locked my account because I have dogs below AKC standard, while allowing numerous Imperial breeders to remain. Also, they promote mixed breeds with breeding practices of large breeds breeding with tinies. Also they are not promoting other standards of the breed (for instance the dogs have giant snouts on a flat faced breed). I have been breeding for 24 years and I would not compromise my babies health. It’s all a gimmick they do not ask for proof of health from a veterinarian nor do they see any of your dogs like AKC inspectors do or veterinarians do. I am in good standing with both.

I could not be happier with our experience adopting our new puppy! My in-laws had a weird scare during the holidays last year when a stranger showed up at their home insisting he had purchased a puppy from them and been told to collect it from their address. My in-laws definitely didn't have any puppies and the police needed to get involved, it turns out he'd been scammed out of a precious present for his kids by someone online. When it came time to purchase our puppy, we knew we'd need to look out of state for the breed we were searching for. With the backing from Good Dog's protections and verifications (along with my own research of our breeder specifically), I felt confident the whole way! Our breeder was never more than a few hours shy of responding to our messages through Good Dog and we were actually more than happy to pay a slight fee on our payments to know they'd be secure for both us and our chosen breeder. After a few months of searching and waiting on the platform, we finally have our new furry family member home safe and sound. Aside from having a direct connection with a different (or maybe even the same!) breeder, I can't imagine why we would not continue to use Good Dog in the future. Thank you for helping us meet our dream dog!

TOTAL SCAMMERS! Do not waste your time dealing with these scammers!!!!!!! BTW, Just wait until tomorrow 10/22/22 to see what PROOF I have and sharing with you prospective buyers/dealers showing just how GoodDog and Becky, the breeder treated us….…
