GoodBuy Gear loves to brag about its “strict safety & quality-check inspection.” Here’s what that inspection is worth: a high chair shipped to me missing the parts needed to put it together. My Skip Hop EON 4-in-1 High Chair was a gift bought from GoodBuy Gear while I was pregnant. Like any expecting parent, I didn’t assemble a high chair for a baby who wasn’t born yet. When the day finally came to use it, I opened the box and found it incomplete. It’s not damaged or worn. It’s just missing pieces that should have been caught by the “baby gear experts” they say inspect every item. I contacted them three times. I didn’t ask for a refund. I asked for the missing parts, store credit, or even just a supervisor to look at my case. What I got back was the same canned response every time: past 14 days, not our problem. Not one of my requests was acknowledged. When I pointed out that their own inspection failed, they replied that they “absolutely stand behind” their inspections. Clearly not. The worst part is that their whole pitch is sustainability and keeping baby gear out of landfills. Their own manufacturer won’t sell replacement parts, so this high chair is now headed for exactly that, all because GoodBuy Gear would rather hide behind fine print than fix its own mistake. Their 14-day window is a convenient trap for a business that sells baby gear, because so much of it is bought ahead of time and not opened for months. They know that. They profit from it. And when their quality control fails, the parent is the one stuck with the bill. Save yourself the frustration and buy somewhere that stands behind what it sells. If you do order from GoodBuy Gear, tear everything open the second it arrives, because once those 14 days pass, their promises mean nothing.

i ordered a 2025 model but what i recived is a 2023 model

GoodBuy Gear sent the wrong Cybex carrycot for order #461487. Even though it was 100% their fulfillment mistake, they refuse to refund the $401.24 back to my credit card and instead forced it to stay as store credit. Very disappointing customer service for a loyal customer.

I ordered two open box items, a bassinet and a bouncer seat. I paid for the no hassle returns. The bouncer seat never arrived and I had to beg them over and over for a refund. The bassinet arrived badly ripped. I returned it with the no hassle returns. It arrived on Sept 10th 2026, today , Sept 15, I asked where my refund was. They claim it was processed on the 10th. It was not, I have no refund . So they stole my money. Do not buy from them!

I bought a bassinet from them and it did not come in the original box and the box was a mess. The bassinet was clearly used. I am still waiting for a reply and keep having ai respond. I have ordered from then in the past with no issues.

Do not purchase from these people. I have honestly had the worst experience. I purchased opened box items. The items were purchased and within 3 hours of purchase II got a sale notification on the items I'd just bought. So I reached out and asked if they would honor the discount. I was told they wouldn't as the item I selected was from a third party seller. Super suspicious considering everything they say they test and mark as meeting strict quality control checks. When I pushed back and said that I didn't actually select the seller, it auto selected for me based on the color I selected, I was basically given the store policy again. I even sent them the auto select which was applying to everything on their sites. But they said I had still selected the seller. If you built your website to auto select and then you added me to your auto sale notifications within a couple of hours of purchase, I'm sorry but you should honor the discount. So I eventually left it. When everything arrived, I discovered I had double of the car seat adaptors. One set came with the stroller, the other I purchased due to it not being listed on description. So I contacted them, and their AI agent said no problem submit for return. I get an email this morning from them that I ca't return the extra adaptor...what exactly would you like me to do with the extra adaptors? Then I was told I could have purchased their protection for $45 to return the adaptors for $43 dollars...make this make sense. And they claim it was the seller I again selected, had it in the description...to which I was like, the seller you auto selected for me and supposedly didn't go on sale like all the rest, but the same seller you couldn't point to during my last inquiry. Did I save money yes, but customer service is horrid and now I get to throw away $43 dollars of equipment I don't need. It's gross, especially considering the total order was well over $1,600.

Very frustrated with website glitches at checkout. I noticed the website assumed I was shipping the items I wanted to purchase to the last person I bought something for so I made sure to change the delivery address back to myself. I didn’t think to double check the verification of purchase email since I selected myself as receiving the item on their website. That was a mistake. Now I’m trying to figure out how to reroute my packages and am spending a lot on shipping when I already paid $15 to ship my items through GoodBuy Gear. Incredibly disappointed with the checkout issues. I don’t know that buying through the site is worth the saving when you have to spend more to get them to the correct address. Update: To have the items shipped again from the incorrect address, it cost $62. Therefore, I spent a total of $77 for shipping for one open box and one used item. I have given a negative review here, responded to a standard customer service check in about the products, and negatively reviewed each item in my order and GoodBuy Gear still has not reached out/responded. I had a bad experience before and they offered great customer service and incentive to continue being a customer. Now they are ignoring me.

I would give this company 0 stars if I could. I registered on my baby registry for an ingenuity high chair. It was originally ordered on January 30th and was missing for a month. Was reordered and delivered. When I opened the box i realized it was taped shut with good buy tape and the box had been opened previously. When opening and inspecting what was labeled as a brand new high chair it was scratched, stained and sticky. Extremely dissapointed I figured I would reach out to the company it was purchased from. I heard back from Trixia who was condescending and minimized the situation stating that I should have opened and inspected it and that I didn’t reach out in 14 days so they “assumed everything was A-ok” Good to know that this company takes back returns in such awful condition. I will be sure to warn anyone looking to purchase any baby items to stay FAR AWAY from this company. An absolute nightmare dealing with this company.
