The case was super cheap i will not be putting my 1200 dollar iPad in that piece of s*it. The case i have now is way better and was cheaper that that pile of s*it i purchased from you. Do me a favor, set your f***ing factory on fire and rid us of the crap you are making.

The ipad keyboard case will not power on making it basically useless.

Mere months after purchasing my iPad Pro + folio, the folio failed to prevent the iPad screen from shattering. Apple charged several hundred $ for the repair, and when I got it back, the folio no longer worked. I never got to use my iPad to do the one thing I bought it for: to write. I swore I’d never buy another apple product again. This was two years ago. This year, November was closing in, and I really didn’t want to be tied down to my desktop computer for NaNoWriMo (look it up). I’ll admit, the new Magic Keyboard with trackpad support was looking very tempting, but the price-tag was ridiculous, and I have first-hand experience with the crappy quality of official Apple accessories. Luckily, thanks to the power of cookies, the internet knew about my quest to find the perfect accessory for my IPad Pro. Gold & Cherry was advertised to me on Facebook. I looked at the products and thought they seemed to good to be true at the price listed. But after a few weeks of debating, I finally decided to pull the trigger on buying the swivel/trackpad combo. And I’m so glad that I did. My ipad now functions essentially as a touch-screen, track-pad enabled laptop computer, an option that is virtually non-existent if I was forced to work through Apple alone. While their magic keyboard allows track-pad functionality, and their folio provides a clamshell design, they aren’t going to give you both in one package, forcing you to buy multiple accessories if you want it all. Thankfully, Gold and Cherry exists to truly give us creatives everything we need in one simple device, for literally hundreds of less $ than we’d need to give apple. The swivel is amazing, allowing me to use the iPad as a tablet when needed, as well as propping up the screen at whatever incline I wish, both facing towards and away from the keyboard. The Trackpad works spectacularly well. The light up, breathing keyboard is a nice touch, since I mostly write at night. The volume button covers feel as if I’m pushing the buttons themselves. The Bluetooth connection ensures that the USB-C port is free. You don’t have to worry about the iPad falling out; in fact, the few times I tried to remove it were surprisingly difficult. And the whole things feels surprisingly solid, not cheap feeling like comparable devices. The function bar allows screen locking, audio controls, playback controls, search, brightness, and even provides an option to pull up the screen keyboard. There’s even a small strap on the left of the device for the Apple Pencil. The only drawback I can think of is that my Apple Pencil has a habit of coming detached from the device, particularly when transferring it to and from my laptop bag, regardless of whether it’s in the strap or magnetized to the top of the device. I suppose this is easily remedied by just attaching a pocket clip to the pencil. Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase, and will recommend it to anyone.

Quick delivery, product is as advertised very nice

I have had the same experience as Karen McCord but my plea for a correctly sized replacement was spurned by MonkProtect. I have tried to talk to someone but have had no response from the listed contact number. So far I am very dismayed and underwhelmed by my dealings with Gold and Cherry. Jim Kelly
