They cancelled my order

I ordered my go kart on 4/30. On Fri 5/8 I got an email saying my order was shipped, and that I would receive a tracking number later. I sent an email on Mon 5/11 to check and see why I hadn't yet received a tracking number (no biggie, it was the weekend, I was just checking). It's now 5/14, and still no tracking number. I get on the site to use their live chat, and after waiting an hour a very unhelpful customer service person (that actually randomly ended the chat mid conversation at one point) informs me that the gokart that supposedly had shipped hadn't actually been shipped and that it was backordered until 6/1. I asked if there was any sort of compensation for now having to wait over a month for a listed in stock item, that they couldn't even bother to tell me was on backorder and wasn't actually shipped (which their own site says they will do for anything backordered more than a week) . I got the answer of "no sorry" and then the live chat person just stopped responding. I wasn't being belligerent or rude, only frustrated. (And I still have the transcript to prove it) I'm going to try again tomorrow (hopefully with someone more helpful), and if it doesn't go better, I'll be demanding for a refund for my $2700 go kart.

We got a 4 wheeler for our kids it’s very nice and delivered pretty fast but wasn’t called like they said they would to set up delivery! The delivery guy said he had the wrong number and on the paper he handed me was not our number but our number was on the box! I’ve been on the site again trying to decide if I want another or wait and noticed you can get a free gift with order and we didn’t have that option on the one we just got! Over all great experience and will highly recommend this company!

During this stressful time, it was nice we could get our son a cool gift of a go- kart that will totally excite and surprise him. Your service was fast and very convenient. Thank you so much.
