THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM! THE METER COUNTS THE MONEY YOU HAVE TO PAY BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF TIME NOT MILES! I took a taxi sponsored by Curb from Logan Airport to Worcester, MA. The taxi started the meter before we had even left the parking lot! He then continuously braked to earn more time and more money. He also chose the traffic lanes and continued on braking. My dad was close to throwing up because of the inevitable braking of the car. At the end of our ride, the amount was 178 and the driver immediately increased it to $188. The driver wanted us to pay in cash so he could earn a tip. He got mad when we paid in card. I would never recommend using this company!

This is a total scam. They lure you in by saying your first ride is $5 off if you sign up for the app then tell you that pairing the ride doesn't give you that discount. Then they continue to tell you that your next ride will be $5 off but it won't be and they can't refund you the $5 promised discount. So now they have your information to use at will.

I had to go into my home to retrieve a card. It declined as i never use it. BUT the cab driver would not let me out of the cab.... HE ASKED FOR MY PHONE (i guess as collateral?) i had to leave my phone behind. I mean he seriously locked the doors on me, and said "WERE GOING TO HAVE A PROBELM." HE NEVER USED A METER. I tried another card and he USED HIS OWN CARD SWIPE MACHINE. It wasnt declined but it didnt go through. I went to retrieve cash and as I walked in HE DROVE OFF WITH MY PHONE. I have filed a police report and reported them to the Better Business Bureau and FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE Boston Police Department's Hackney Carriage Unit. NOT ONLY DID HE BASICALLY KEEP ME HOSTAGE, HE STOLE FROM ME AND THREATNED ME. Curb is useless and had no words of help at all. I have waited 3 days now and NOTHING from Curb, They last emailed me two days ago. WTH.

Two taxi rides: 7/14/25: The first one slowly went up in charge over the course of 1 mile. My total was $9.95, I tipped $4, and then I was charged $20 without warning of taxes or anything. I shouldn't have tipped at all. 7/16/25: Second taxi, I got in the taxi at my hotel going to the airport (2.5 miles) and was watching the meter because it wasn't going up in mileage or price in the parking garage. Once we got to the parking garage exit, he turned it on. A mile down the road I heard loud clicking so I looked to the dash and he had jammed a pen into the top of the meter. It immediately went to $25 and did not change the whole trip. Idk if that's airport policy, but it seemed really odd and unprofessional. Then it tipped extra again when I checked out, but not as much as the first taxi. Taxi drivers were very nice both times, just thought the overcharging was unprofessional, but welcome to Las Vegas. Anyone will do anything for $1. Vacation or business travel somewhere else and don't use Curb!

I started using Curb when I was at the Reno airport and realized how stupid it was to wait 7+ minutes for a ride to our hotel after midnight when there was a lineup of taxis right there. I cancelled my lift and took the taxi instead.The taxi used a meter connected to Curb. And the cost was cheaper! To get picked up from a random restaurant in Reno was also cheaper than Lyft or uber. Now, I’m in Chicago and the curb rides are about $10 cheaper than uber! $26 for curb vs $35 for uber! Curb has a lower carbon footprint because of the cars idle in key zones (instead of waiting for cars to crisscross town to get to you) and the drivers are legit professional. No messing with drivers who won’t turn meters on.

I took a curb vehicle from LaGuardia airport to my home. I requested a receipt with place of pickup and dropoff and date and amount paid. Instead of LaGuardia the receipt said pickup was on Ditmars Blvd. I need the pickup address to be corrected. This is a problem with Curb

On 4/26 I hailed a cab with a Curb logo on the window. I was unable to pair and pay. No code came up on the screen and the driver didn't know what to do. I needed to pay with a credit card. On the return trip I used Curb to summon a ride. I was traveling with a friend who needed to be let out at a corner on the way to my building. The driver, at first, aggressively refused to stop to let my friend out. After a very tense exchange he agreed. Curb has previously responded to my comments about this by saying that maybe they'll add the ability to make more than one stop when the app is used to call a ride. They have been giving this response for some years now. I prefer to use cabs, but my recurring awful experiences with Curb may mean that I need to start using Lyft or Uber. Cab companies need to understand that Curb is hurting, not helping, their business.

Y206252C taxi driver tried to scam us. He said the parking meter wasn't working and that if we paid by card, he'd charge us more. He pulled out another card reader and rudely threatened us.
