I used Curb for the first time for a ride from O'Hare airport to my house (Downers Grove) The price was considerably above any taxi, Uber or Lift ride that I had ever taken. I unfortunately misunderstood the driver more than once and expected the price to be less than half of what I paid.He kept saying one price and it changed to an unbelievable increase. I won't ever use this company because of it.

I used Curb several times during a visit to NYC. Each time the app would say the driver is 5 min away for 15+ minutes. It seems they haven't done anything to make the service adjust time estimates based on actual traffic. It was so bad when we were trying to catch a cab to the airport that we had to abandon the app requested cab and go hail a cab on the street, to get to the airport in time. I'm sure the company is going to charge me for that. They've lost my business with this experience.

I took a curb vehicle from LaGuardia airport to my home. I requested a receipt with place of pickup and dropoff and date and amount paid. Instead of LaGuardia the receipt said pickup was on Ditmars Blvd. I need the pickup address to be corrected. This is a problem with Curb

On 4/26 I hailed a cab with a Curb logo on the window. I was unable to pair and pay. No code came up on the screen and the driver didn't know what to do. I needed to pay with a credit card. On the return trip I used Curb to summon a ride. I was traveling with a friend who needed to be let out at a corner on the way to my building. The driver, at first, aggressively refused to stop to let my friend out. After a very tense exchange he agreed. Curb has previously responded to my comments about this by saying that maybe they'll add the ability to make more than one stop when the app is used to call a ride. They have been giving this response for some years now. I prefer to use cabs, but my recurring awful experiences with Curb may mean that I need to start using Lyft or Uber. Cab companies need to understand that Curb is hurting, not helping, their business.

It may be a coincidence, but 2 times I have had a credit card fraud immediately after using the Curb app. Not sure that my credit card is safely stored on the app. I use the app a lot, but it seems odd.

I am in MI (Eastern time zone), attempting to book a cab for tomorrow in Chicago (Central time.) I need to leave at 7:30 but have to book it for 8:30 so time will adjust. (I hope that’s the trick) Seems like technology would recognize that I want to leave at time that is local to the address I enter as my starting point.

If you cancel your ride because it’s taking too long to find a driver, they place a hold on your credit card that doesn’t fall off for a week. Also they don’t take responsibility for poor service (like the guy who refused to take me to my destination several blocks away). I like the concept of Curb, as taxi drivers know the city way better than other ride share drivers. But I’m done. As another reviewer said, back to Uber.

This is an extremely misleading app. I used Curb for the first time yesterday. When I booked my ride the cost was shown as $19.00 and it’s temporary hold, was put on my card to secure that amount. When I got my receipt at the end of the ride, the final cost was $29.00! The base price was almost $20.42, not $19.00. Then there were taxes and fees, including a $1.00 fee to use the app (an “improvement surcharge”), totaling $4.00. Finally, my 20% tip was based on the final cost, including the $4.00 in taxes and fees, rather than the base cost. So it ended up costing significantly more than I thought it would be. They need to be a lot more transparent in their pricing structure.
