Purchased a prepaid Visa debit card on 12/2/23. The card does not work, and never worked. I contacted Co2Bank, and they opened a claim, on 12/4/23. I was told that I needed to send in proof of purchase, front/back of the Go2Bank prepaid Visa and front/back cop of my driver's license. I did all that, and as of 12/26/23, all I have been getting is the run around and being transferred multiple times, and hearing stories. This place is a scam, and taking people's money. Each representative has a different story. One said my refund check went out, another says it didn't, another says I need to get another receipt from Dollar Tree, one says my claim is closed and I need to reopen. I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I am going to find out who the CEO is of this company. I WANT MY $299.95 BACK. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE - BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PREPAID CARD! SCAMMERS AND LOSERS FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY.

If I were able to give a review with no stars, I would. I had trouble using my card. When I called, the person on the other end asked numerous questions to "verify my account information" and also, in was able to have me provide information that they were in the end able to take more than $1K from my account. As I was watching the money leave my account I was helpless to stop the action. Once it was completed and I was left with $.93, the individual said, "I will now wipe out all information of this from your phone." And, all of my phone information was wiped out except the contacts which were backed up. Going into the account, I could see where they sent the money via Target and Chime gift cards. As I tried to freeze the account, I kept getting error messages. There is more, but this is enough to say STAY AWAY FROM GO2BANK. Will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and seeing if I can take any legal actions against them.

Absolutely horrible. Never received my first card in the mail, had to update my address on the website, per the app. Used the chat feature for assistance from their "customer service" personnel. BIG MISTAKE. I verified if they can ship to PO Box addresses, was TOLD YES BY THE PERSON IN A SAVED CHAT THAT THE SUPERVISOR LATER REVIEWED, so they helped me update it. I then inquired how to have a new card mailed, since I never got the first one. Next thing I know, I receive an email informing me that my account is BLOCKED, and even though I immediately provided proof of my identity in addition to calling the number for assistance, I'm still told that even though their representative gave me false information, I can't access any of my money for at least 2 business days. Oh, and they also sent a security text message where it stated there was an address change, and if it wasn't me to respond; obviously, I didn't respond, further verifying that nothing was suspicious. All of this the week before Christmas, it will affect my direct deposit per the automated email, and I literally can't touch my very own money to buy food or gas for days, for absolutely no good reason. All thanks to their employee, and for me following their instructions/guidance. I am absolutely appalled, especially since they refuse to give me access to money for an issue that I didn't create; their representative's lack of training did.

Do not under any circumstances. Use this bank for any of its services. customer service representatives intentionally hang up on you if. They can't answer your questions accurately. Even contact in the corporate office is useless. I had a $12000 deposit made to this bank. And now they are denying the access to amounts of money that I need to take care of my medical needs, which has put my life in grave danger. I needed to take out $7000 to purchase the vehicle so that I could get to my doctor's appointments that was the whole point of using this bank to. they denied me access to 7000 of the $12000. I had in account.. they've been threatened to close my account and make me wait 3 additional weeks. For a paper check to come in the mail. I opened this account to avoid the paper check because my health and doctor's appointments are at risk. No matter who you call or what time a day they answer your questions. Word-for-word the same as the last person you would have. Because they are reading from a script. they say you can spend up to $10000 a day. But when I went to spend money on money orders. They blocked this transaction. Calling it suspicious. so I can't get my rent paid. Will you express your frustrations and ask for supervisors that hang up the phone or threaten to close your account. they even went as far as to tell me things like quotation mark your check will be mailed to you soon. But it will take 3 weeks to get there and if it is lost in the mail, it will take another 3 weeks. so they're holding my money hostage. All the while hoping I will make dozens and dozens of small purchases which they benefit from each time because of the charge associated with each purchase. When it comes to transferring funds from one bank account to another. Their only options are to transfer money into their bank. Never out. this is a scam and a 1/2 and I am going to lose my doctor because I'm missing the appointments that took months to get. On top of that, I am still without a vehicle. And my legs are swollen from the groin. It nearly impossible for me to walk.

I purchased 2 prepaid Visa Cards and can not activate them. Download the app and put the card information in and they want you to open a bank account. I opened an account and still couldn't activate the cards. Customer service says the store is the one to refund my money and the store says the bank has to. I would not recommend anyone ever purchase one of these cards

Terrible customer service. They never sent my card so I could not activate my account but they kept charging me a $5 monthly fee. NEVER USE THIS BANK!!! I will just take the loss on the money I deposited into this bank. I'm just worried that they might sell my SS# or other information.
