It sucked and invaded my privacy

Terrible. Atrocious service. This so called legitimate service is the death of democracy and freedom.

My University has unfortunately decided to opt with this company. Not only does this service put students privacy at risk but also their exam experience itself. Background noise. Interruptions. Poor and wrong exam instructions. Moreover, the T&C do not take any action to protect privacy. This must be reviewed.

It almost feels like a bad dream come true when you imagine how something like ProctorU remains legal while being one of the grossest and most obvious invasions of privacy ever. My desktop camera sometime blinks, indicating that it's on, when I'm on the ProctorU website. The proctors themselves are about as professional as toddlers running a lemonade stand. All 5 of my proctors have had people having loud conversations in the background. With the random flashes from my webcam, I am so terrified that I'm being (literally) watched at any given time that I have to disconnect my webcam when I'm not using it. I am embarrassed that UQ has resorted to such backwards technology and could not come up with any other alternatives. Everytime I log into online banking or Facebook on my computer, I get paranoid. While this is may seem dramatic, ProctorU has the potential to wreak technological havoc with access to tens of thousands of university students' private details. Please do not use ProctorU. I'm even scared writing this review.

Say goodbye to your privacy, would not recommend. Far too obtrusive.

This is every IT horror story about letting people into your operating system come true. Why bother with being hacked when you just download Proctor U and let someone in yourself!

Sucks . Absolutely wouldn't recommend

Absolutely horrible janky program. Privacy, what privacy? I sign all my rights away to take a university mandated exam. A company that doesn't care. Sorry, that's wrong. They care - about their own profits.
