The boxes pictured looked amazing. The 2 I actually got were not so great. Consisted of really cheap goods, like something found at a flea market. I was really disappointed. The have cancelled my subscription.

I tried GlobeIn because I admire the concept but it has not been a good experience. Monthly subscription boxes arrived many months late and items arrived broken. The fulfillment center does not know how to package fragile items so items arrive broken. You can only reach customer support via email which definitely slows down the process. After emailing images of the damaged items you receive a gift card to be used towards another purchase which inevitably arrives broken. The process is so frustrating I will not renew my subscription. It's a great concept but you definitely need patience and the time to deal with the shipping problems.

I've had nothing but trouble with GlobeIn. I admire their concept, however; the administration is a mess. I haven't received things I purchased. The app is a mess. I was recently charged extra for a "theme box" that should have been covered under my "SuperMaven" status. Customer service tries, but I usually receive a reply to change browsers or be patient. For $500 a year, my patience is wearing thin.

I purchased a 3 month subscription in April and have received about one-third of the items I have already paid for. Support queries trigger a robot response. I just got ripped off to the tune of a couple hundred dollars. My head is spinning. Is there a class action lawsuit yet? I've screenshot everything inside my account. I'll definitely join!

I tried to give this company so many chances but it keeps getting worse and worse. And no, Covid is not the reason for their mess. I do not mind waiting for the products and understand the delays in getting the products into the US. My issue is with their inventory management and how they would prioritize orders that are placed through the Shop at the full price and plus open to the public over orders that were placed for months by their subscribers. An example is the same products that their subscriber ordered for their monthly boxes and add ons would not be shipped for months. However thesesame products would be available in the shop and is processed for shop orders or new customers. To me it shows an integrity issue since they keep giving their subscribers the same excuse for the delay and at the same time they are happily shipping out the same products at full price through shop orders, never mind that these shop orders are placed after the subscribers’s orders. Another issue is their disdain attitude of treating their current subscribers. It’s like after they lured you in and they don’t have to worry about customer service anymore. Their response to complaints on BBB, here or their social media page is all fluffy and nice “please contact customer service and we will address your concern.” Ya you will receive a generic email response that basically says they cannot help you.

This company has lost their way. It used to a great place to support fair trade artisan goods . The products are unique and from amazing craftsman. Globein's customer service is FAILING these artisans. You pick a theme for the month and they switch it on you and for you to pay shipping to have it exchanged and completely ignore you except for form letter response emails. It is not cheap but you feel good supporting these artisans until you realize you are being taking advantage of by their customer service. My subscription is being cancelled and will not be ordering again Yes Brandi did email with a canned email. Did not answer any questions any and tried to force the blame of your mistake on me and make me pay for something I didn't order or pick!

I tried GlobeIn because I liked the idea of fair trade artisan goods. My first month I picked a box and two add-on items. I received the add-on items but never got the monthly box. I contacted customer service and was told it was a split shipment and my box would be coming. I picked a box the 2nd month and it arrived as scheduled but I still hadn't received the first box. The 3rd month one of my items arrived broken and it was replaced promptly with another broken bowl. And I still hadn't received my first box. At this point I was disgusted and requested a refund. I was told I would get $203 back in 10-14 days. No credit appeared so I had to dispute it with my credit card company. Although I think this is a good cause I would not recommend this subscription service.

It's now been 5 months since I placed an order and they still have no idea when it will be shipped out. I love the idea of this company and some of their products but waiting over 5 months to receive items is absurd with no update. You either have the products or you don't. Send them. And I'm tired of the same generic email from Kathy every time saying they don't have an update and they're sorry. Don't waste your money people there's other similar companies out there like this. I work in eCommerce and have seen a ton.
