I just don’t understand why you have a cancel subscription button on your website but say they can’t process your request at this time so you won’t hear back from them for 2 to 3 weeks. I just not to be charge for my subscription.

Hi Jordan,
Thank you for providing this feedback. The Cancel button on your account should work. If it is not, this seems to be an issue specific to your account. Our Customer Support Team will be more than happy to work with you here. Please note that our Support Team is about 10 business days behind on emails due to the increase we are receiving. You should have received an automated email letting you know that we received your request and explaining our response time at the moment. If you do send in multiple emails, it will significantly delay your response time because of how our email system works. They will respond to you as soon as possible.
Thank you,
The GlobeIn Team

Really disappointed with the wait time…
Really disappointed with the wait time to receive items ordered and paid for. Still waiting on orders for September, October, November, and December. I’m wondering if I will ever receive any of them. Emailed to ask and got a form letter response and that took a long time to get. I recommend Novica instead. Order what you want, it goes to help artisans, and the company is honest about delivery times and follows through
The reply below is not honest, and honestly, just shady. I have not received regular emails or even a response to my question about my orders. So far I have yet to receive my Sept. Oct. Nov. or Dec. orders or an answer as to when I might. This is not good business.

Hi Nikki,
Thank you for providing this valuable feedback. As our customers know, GlobeIn has been in the process of moving fulfillment centers. With the stress of that move, the pandemic, and the holiday season in regards to FedEx shipping delays, it has been difficult to keep up with orders. However, we have been sending regular email updates to our customers and our CEO, Vlad, has been posting live videos to our Facebook Mavens Group from the fulfillment center.
This move will tremendously improve shipping issues in the coming months! We expect to have your boxes out on time, prevent damages, and not have any missing items. While this move is beneficial, it is unfortunately causing delays in shipment. Although we cannot provide you with an exact date on when your order will ship, rest assured that you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information as soon as it is processed.
Thank you,
The GlobeIn Team

I STARTED WITH A SUBSCRIPTION AND THEN…

I HAD TOLD THEM IN MY EMAILS I NEEDED TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNTS. ONE FINALLY GOT CLOSED. WELL NOW WE ARE A FEW MONTHS DOWN THE ROAD AND ONCE AGAIN I AM PAYING OUT THRU PAYPAL ALMOST 200.00 A MONTH FOR TWO SUBSCRIPTIONS! HOW THIS HAPPENED I DO NOT KNOW BUT I AM DAMNED TIRED OF IT! I JUST WANT IT ALL TO GO AWAY!

Hi Patti,
Thank you for providing this feedback. Unfortunately, we are unable to take phone calls at this time due to our limited customer support team. We transferred over to an email Customer Support system a few years back because we noticed it was much more efficient to be able to answer customer emails faster while providing necessary attachments, documentation and assistance with inquiries.

Annoying
They keep making excuses and pushing back when they will ship orders from September. They ship new customers on time to have positive feedback but leave repeat customers waiting forever.

Hi Mel,
Thank you for this valuable feedback. We understand that the shipping delays are frustrating. Please know that we are not prioritizing new customers over repeat customers.
Our Customer Support Team will be more than happy to work with you here. Please note that our Support Team is about 7 business days behind on emails due to the increase we are receiving. Our CEO, Vlad, has sent out another update email regarding all of our delayed orders with new timelines.
In his last email from December 6th, he mentioned that our plan was to have all September, October and November boxes shipped out by today, Wednesday, December 16th and that this timeline was contingent on our ability to increase our daily shipping capacity. Our warehouse has been limited by FedEx to one truck load of boxes per day. On Sunday night he was able to confirm that there’s a warehouse in Chattanooga, TN (only 2 hours from our current warehouse) that was able to accept 3 truck loads of boxes and ship them on our behalf. Partnering with this warehouse has doubled our daily shipping capacity and made it possible to ship most September and October subscription boxes. We estimate that all of the boxes shipping from this facility will have shipped by the end of the day on Friday, December 18th. If your order ships out in the afternoon of the 18th, you may not see your tracking email until the following day.
Our fulfillment team is working seven days a week to get as many November orders shipped as soon as possible. Even though we expect most delayed, unfulfilled orders to ship out by Friday, December 18th, we’re hesitant to make any further estimates on shipping and delivery timelines. Based on FedEx’s current estimates it is likely that it will take 7-10 business days for tracking information to update and for packages to be delivered. Additionally, it’s possible that the packages will be delivered to the recipient before tracking information has been updated on the FedEx website.
We know this update does not provide any details on specific order’s shipment dates and for this we sincerely apologize. Unfortunately, due to the processes we are using to push through as many shipments as possible, our Customer Service team does not have access to detailed shipping estimates, timelines or updates on specific orders at this time.
Best wishes,

Too many excuses, to much work…
There have been delays with shipping for four months at least. I'm still waiting. A few items have arrived broken, I have asked for a replacement and was told there were no more left each time. I recieved a credit. I don't want a credit I want the slurp bowl. But alright. Customer service is slow at best. Yes... this is a business, I love that it helps artists but don't be fooled they are out to make a buck too..like all businesses. There are to many excuses for broken merchandise, slow or no shipping and mediocre service. People may say stop being so entitled. But I would not tolerate this from any other business I gave my money to. I canceled their service, it just became too much work.

Take Your Business Elsewhere
Dealing with this company has honestly been a wakeup call for me. There are some organizations out there that exist solely to take advantage of you, and this is one of them. I rate this one as one of the worst kind because they operate under the guise of helping artisans from around the world. At the close of a six month membership, I have yet to see much of what I have ordered. Some of the products that have made their way to me have been broken without the possibility of replacements. Customer service is a nightmare and you are lucky to hear back from them (no phone numbers in the GlobeIn world). When you do get an email back from them a week or more later, it is usually a form letter or a curt brush off.
When I thought this company couldn't get an worse, I have been wowed with a new rock bottom they have set for themselves, the moving warehouses fiasco that has crippled this company from sending out orders although they continue to take peoples' money for new purchases. I was able to get a refund (with a fight) for one order that I have placed. I placed another order 3 months ago and still have yet to receive anything I paid for. I have also not been issued a refund after requesting one.
They will gladly take your money and continually lie to you about shipment dates. Even after reaching out to credit card companies for refunds, many of us still find them charging our accounts.
My best advice to you and what I have learned from this terrible experience is that there are plenty of other companies promoting handicrafts from around the world that operate in an upright and legal manner. Give your money to them. Do your research and make sure that your money is going to a company that values you as a customer and will also treat the artisans they work with respectfully. Spare yourself the headache and stress of working with this company. Also, if a GlobeIn representative is reading this, feel free to make things right with me by offering that October refund I have been inquiring about. I would love to hear from you!

Don't do it!!!!
Terrible customer service and just service in general. Actually - their customer service just doesn't exist. There is no way to get someone on the phone and you have to wait weeks for an email response from a representative. And even then it is a generic computer generated response. I am waiting on orders from 4 months ago - with no estimated shipping date information! I cancelled my subscription, but they still charged my card for another 3 months and now I am fighting with them to get that money reimbursed! The idea of this box is great! And if you get your monthly box and the items are not smashed to bits - you're one of the lucky ones. The items really are gorgeous - you just don't know if you will ever get what you are buying!!

It appears that I’m not alone and…
It appears that I’m not alone and completely discouraged by the terrible service. I totally agree that concept and product is great but no execution. How they can continue to promote new business is beyond me because I too am waiting for an October box they was a gift. I’ve reached out multiple times only to get promises and excuses. You need to hire more workers and get a better business plan. Tired of excuses.
