What the Glarry factory should do is…
What the Glarry factory should do is build a jig for the neck mounting holes. I could not get the action on the neck right. So I thought I needed a shim. When I removed the neck I found more surprises. First, someone had already shimmed the neck. What I also found is the when they drilled the holes for neck mounting, they drilled them 1/8 " to the right and one hole was also drilled 1/16" south. The holes do not align. We all know about the nut. If you plan to mod this guitar with a color pickguard off a Squier etc. Forget about it. The pickguard will not be close. If you want to add a metal control plate, the body routing is too large. You are stuck with the Duosonic style humbucker pickguard. The pickups are fine though. Glarry, build a jig for neck mounting. Glarry I think it is well worth it to fix the nut issues everyone has.
