Hi Amy! Happy to hear the delivery time was fast! All of our products are prepackaged by the manufacturer . What you are describing is actually residue from the packaging material that is located around the inner edge of the box to add extra stability for the electric base of the 3 motor bed during shipping.  We have had occasional reports of some residue from the packing being on the bed sometimes after transit, and it does as you noted wipe off, easily. (Rust does not wipe off). We are really sorry to hear that you needed to clean your bed upon receipt and we apologize for the inconvenience.  We have not received any reports of our beds arriving with any effect on the cushions.  We appreciate your business and our CEO has reached out to you to see if there’s anything else we can to do make it right for you! There was misunderstanding on the customer's part. Customer received their order on Friday Jan 26th, requested support which was replied to immediately. There was no further contact from customer until 5pm the following Friday, the end of the week, in the form of this review. When we contacted the customer the following week, we helped to clear up her confusion about the operation of the equipment that she had ordered. She commented: "Maybe we werent doing it properly. "We weren't really closing the curtain around them, so it wasnt completely dark. We were very upset. We needed these to get ready.." for an event. "Sorry." We were glad we were able to help the customer get up and running on her skin scanners. Usually this equipment is purchased by end-users who have experience in using them, but in this instance this was not the case. We found that the Derma Scans had been working all along, it was just a matter of how to operate it. In the end the customer was happy, we spent 25 minutes on the line with her and our tech support staff, and we got it taken care of for her! Happy ending ! :)

We had emailed the customer in this instance in order to communicate the availability status of the item in this purchase. They did cancel that order. When the item came back in stock , and we verified that to them, we shipped the product out and it delivered in a timely manner. Hanna, We were sorry to hear that the deliver didn't go as you had hoped and expected. We always do our best to provide a convenient and well-informed delivery experience for all of our customers. We work with over a dozen freight companies in order to ship very large treatment equipment by freight all over the United States, with multiple shipments in transit across the country every day. The shipments are routed to local delivery terminals which are located almost every medium and large city in every state. Each of those locations has their own local culture and staffing procedures. Unfortunately It is not standardized at all. It is truly an imperfect system, and we do apologize that there were inconveniences. We really try hard and do the best we can, but sometimes there are variables with this type of freight shipment that are beyond our control. Weather, traffic, and routing can also be a factor. As with any ECommerce Business, we also do sometimes do hear concerns about delivery time, and this is something we are constantly working to make improvements on. What we are doing to help with this is working on internal systems with our vendors to streamline the order entry+processing+shipment time. This order was placed on a Friday 10/16 after the end of the business day, at 10:01pm It shipped out from San Diego 4 business days later on Thursday (10/22) Delivery into New York by Fedex Ground will be on Wednesday (10/28) We did discount this customer’s order, and we also shipped the order free of cost too! With those savings considered, the customer got this item at nearly what our cost was! Which is something we're happy to do when we can because we love to make our customers happy, and we know how much this can help a small business out!! We have warehouses around the country, and that’s a factor that varies by product. If their location had happened to be on the West Coast, for this particular item, their delivery time would have been as little as one day. This is also an aspect of our operations that we're constantly making improvements on and adjustments to.
