Giant FoodReviews of giantfood.com

My favorite Giant food store is at 1230 west broad st falls church. This is one of the greatest Giant store in Virginia. The manager Mr.Thioune and another staff member Mr.Nadal are amazingly helpful ,pleasant people. Actually all the staff are very nice . Never experience any shortage of what I was look for. There is a closer Giant store to me but I go to the falls church one and I enjoy shopping there.

I just ordered for delivery the 2nd time in a couple days because I forgot a couple things and I didn’t allow substitutions so I place my order for chicken gravy packets, tomato sauce and light red kidney beans and out of my last 4 orders I had to go to the store anyway. Delivery is worthless if you don’t have quality control!

Giant food store in Huntingdon valley carries many organic or natural products at a reasonable price. Appreciate the helpful staff.

YOUVE RAISED PRICES WHERE AN AVERAGE FAMILY CANT KEEP UP WITH PRICES AS THEY LITERLY GET RAISED WHILE SHOPPING. SHAME ON YOU GREEDY DONT CARE CORPORATE EMPLOYEES. I'M SURPRISED YOU HAVNT CHARGED CUSTOMERS TO PARK IN THE LOT. WHAT HAPPENED TO FREE HAM VOUCHERS. I STILL HAVE SOME YOU DONT HONOR. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN YOU AFTER SHOPPING WITH YOU 20+ YRS. TARGET NEXT DOOR IS CONSIDERABLY LESS EXPENSIVE AND WE'VE CHOSE TO MAKE ENDS MEET THERE. EVEN YOUR EMPOLYEES HAVE MENTIONED THEY CANT AFFORD YOUR PRICES. EVEN YOUR PHARMACY ISNT COMPETITIVE. WE USED TO ENJOY SHOPPING WITH YOU BUT IT ISNT IN OUR BUDGET. AND WE'RE A 6 DIGIT INCOME. IMAGINE HOW IT FEELS BEING ON S.S.I. ITS GOT TO THE POINT TOILET PAPERS SO EXPENCIVE A PERSON CANT AFFORD TO DEFICATE ANYMORE.

I recently had an unpleasant experience at the self-checkout area of my local Giant store at Warrington PA. One of my items scanned at a higher price than I expected, so I politely asked the self-checkout attendant for help. After finally getting his attention, I started to explain the issue by saying that I thought the price might be incorrect. Before I could finish explaining, he interrupted me and repeatedly told me, "Put it in." I was confused because I was trying to determine whether I even wanted to purchase the item. I asked what he meant, and attempted several times to explain that I wanted the price checked before deciding whether to buy it. Each time I tried to speak, I was interrupted and not allowed to finish my sentence. The conversation became frustrating because I felt that the attendant was not listening to my concern. When I asked to be treated respectfully and given a chance to explain the issue, he walked away and returned to his station without helping me further. Fortunately, a manager came over, listened to the problem, and resolved it professionally and courteously. I appreciate her assistance. However, the interaction with the self-checkout attendant fell far below the level of customer service I expect. Customers should be treated with patience, respect, and given the opportunity to explain their concerns. I hope Giant uses this feedback as an opportunity to improve the customer experience.

So, my Cardiologist is adjusting me to a new medication. They wanted me to double the dose, and monitor that my pressure doesn't go too low. Needed another refill, so put that in as well. Get home to load my dispenser and notice my old medication is in a new pill shape. Then I open the other--AND THE PILLS ARE IDENTICAL! They had given me the new medication in the bottle for a totally different med. Had i not noticed, I would have been taking three-times the dose. Their response? "Sorry. Have a nice day. "

I shop Giant regularly because it's close to home but now I'm traveling further for other supermarkets. Their fruits are the worst..they must freeze them or? They are tasteless...I no longer purchase any fruit or veggies there. They also are inconsistent with product brands.. I can buy the same product for a few weeks then they no longer have the brand at all or it will appear again a few months later for a short period of time..we are talking well known brand products...what's up with that? The only 2 things I found I actually like is their premium brand paper towels and their online ordering service from their app. That app I do find convenient but other stores are now doing the same as far as ordering on an app and picking it up curbside.

GIANT DIRECT - ORDER# m778327513 Negative experience on 6/11/26 when ordering online. Would love to know what is going on with GIANT’s online Delivery software? In order of priority, I’ll begin with the following: • glitches in software? After my order was delivered on 6/12/26, little by little I began remembering at least 5 food items I absolutely placed in Cart that somehow did NOT make it into their system, so that these items could be viewed! These were FOOD items I needed for my family! I know for certain the glitch was not on my end, as I have the latest software version iPhone. • Careless (?) mistakes with honoring their SALE PRICES: I purchased numerous items on sale, clipping the correct coupons, as instructed. Yet, when all was said and done, on the final receipt emailed to me, I observed that I was charged the original price! Called Customer Service (CS) on 6/12, CS agreed it was their error, and I was credited for the correct “Sale” amount. In addition, a BOGO offer was not honored either. Shoppers beware - sharing so that other shoppers will not experience this. This should not be happening. GIANT, do better - please be thorough and honor your sale prices.
