I used getmyboat to rent a boat in Dominican Republic for a few hours to celebrate my husband's birthday. The app was easy to use and the details were accurate. I had no problems with the app at all. I was very pleased with the process and we had a fun filled day. Made some unforgettable memories. Will definitely use them again!

GetMyBoat helped kicked my business into the next level. They are responsive, and have been easy to work with. I get my money always as promised and they have resolved whatever issues come my way. We are in the customer service business, so there will always be challenges but I have received 5 stars with all my bookings via Getmyboat. I can highly recommend them!

GetMyBoat is a great app, well designed and easy to use. It connects me with locals looking to spend a day on the water.

they first send a few emails declining your request then another email is sent showing that they have a boat to rent which will only cost $460 at the bottom of the quote there is a new breakdown of the actual cost that shows the cost as $1450 plus $200 for the captain what a complete scam

Rael, When were notified of your review we requested additional information to look into your experience with us and contact you. It appears you were seeking to secure a reservation for September 4th and sending inquires on September 3rd. As this was a log weekend a few factors come into play, 1. Less availability and 2. Price differences. Upon review of the offers that boat owners provided to you they were very clear on the price of the rental via the platform as well as any funds due on the day of for captain and fuel costs. When our team attempted to reach you by phone you advised you did not wish to speak with us. We would have been happy to assist and clarify any of your concerns. We wish you all the best, GetMyBoat Customer Support

Terrible experience. Do not rent a luxury double decker yacht from JAY in Toronto. Horrible communication as he took days to respond and cancelled on us less than 1 hour before the departure time. We were all headed downtown. This probably meant he double booked or took a more expensive booking last minute. We had booked this service months in advance. Not reliable at all! Worst!

Hello Rachel, To say the experience you have encountered with Jay falls short of our expectations would be an understatement. Our records indicate that you have been in contact with our team to address the concerns, and we will be taking the required action against the boat owner. We will do all that we can to make this right. Regards, GetMyBoat Customer Support

First time using the site and it was horrible. Been in contact through the site to arrange booking with owner. When I finally made a payment I didn’t realize the date was no longer available and the owner changed the date on me just a couple of minutes before the adjustment. I didn’t notice his messages and when I realized I wanted to request a refund and although it does say refunds do not return their service fee, I was hoping they would make an exception for an error I didn’t notice just right after payment. Of course they couldn’t because that it policy so they kept $600 from me for no service at all. Even would’ve understood even half back but whatever. What’s done is done. If I have to lose $600 to let everyone know to not bother booking in advance. Even if weather doesn’t work out and u want to cancel at least 5 days prior. They will still keep all the service fee. So don’t ever book unless you’re 200% sure.

The site is great. Never use the renter named Michael. He ripped us off and traded boats 4 times over 6 days. It was a waste of money and a hassle because of him.

We rented a boat from RORY biggest Unscrupulous tactics in a business. Tampa. Florida. Never ever do business with this guy. We paid up front for a 22 foot boat. He called us back said he can not be at the dock we booked and he can not get his boat that we rented out because his truck broke down. So he said he had a better boat and we could use that but had to drive 23 minutes out of our way and he said we could have it for the samre time 5-sunset. We originally rented for 4 hours. Then he texts us the bluetooth doesnt work. Text him back he calls says on phone,,,,, He stated that he would discount us for that. Hes a real piece of work. Run from getmyboat.com its filled with cons. Im very upset we waisted our time and familys time dealing with this horrible mess. Do not use RORY. We have requested a refund.. beyond unethical. If we do not recieve a full refund we are taking legality.
