I had a boat cancel on me 5 days before the rental date, with no explanation. This left me scrambling to find another boat in the middle of summer. Getmyboat was not helpful in finding another boat. The owners need to be held more accountable for cancelling last minute. I ended up paying more roughly $400 for a different boat because inventory was so limited 5 days out. I wouldn’t use getmyboat again.

From the areas on the boat we were allowed in. It was very nice. Some of the areas on the boat were blocked off and we could not access where other people were. We were unaware that there will be other guest that we did not know on that side of the boat. Also, we were not allowed to use the kitchen or play music in the inside of the boat. The price that was paid to them since a bit extreme for not having access to the entire boat.

Drivers are not background checked. We didn’t find out until after that our driver is awaiting trial for multiple sexual felonies. He has not been kicked off the platform. RENT ELSEWHERE

They hide the cost of fuel and the charge a ridiculous hourly fee of $18 no matter how much you use fuel. So if you rent a boat for three hours and use only 6 or 7 gallons they charge $48!!!!

This app could be improved. It seems a little outdated and really hard to message hosts without sending an inquiry for a specific day/time for a reservation. Price isn't exactly the the price listed. Filtering feature could be enhanced (I wanted to filter for specific times of day availability but you can't see it until you click into each result and send an inquiry). Some hosts wouldn't get back to me and I felt like it was on purpose because they would wait to see what other offers they could get before they consider accepting my inquiry. One captain waited a whole week and said he wasn't getting his notifications for some reason. I think the concept of this app is great but they really need to revamp the infrastructure of it. I will say I did luckily (after many rounds of searching) find a captain to take us out and we had a great time!

Alors soit ils connaissement mal leur géographie, soit ils ont payé cher pour être référencés même s'ils n'ont rien à dire. Moi j'ai perdu mon temps et des données mobiles. De plus ils disent afficher leurs "favoris", les ont-ils vraiment testés ? Moi je veux une liste exhaustive de loueurs, par juste leurs "favoris"... Bref je vais chercher un site plus sérieux et pertinent.

I’ve been rather disappointed with my Get My Boat experience. Working directly with the boat captain is much preferred and I would recommend. They offer financing and don’t have the additional booking fee - the price is much more reasonable. Within 24 hours after booking through Get My Boat I inquired with customer service to discuss my order and financing options. They replied once and never responded to the thread. After initiating conversation through another support request, I was also replied to once and then ignored. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this service.
