We're truly sorry to hear how things unfolded, and we completely understand how upsetting it must have been to cut your trip short, especially after the excitement of planning a yacht cruise. Our goal is always to ensure our customers feel safe, supported, and valued. We took your concerns seriously and reached out to the boat owner to understand what happened. They explained that although the weather shifted shortly before your arrival, they assessed the conditions as safe for travel and had the yacht fully prepared. We also learned that shortly after leaving the port, your group expressed discomfort with the sea conditions, and the captain respected your request to return to shore. We appreciate that this was not the experience you hoped for. While the crew remained available and the boat was ready for the full charter time, we understand that doesn’t change how your group felt in the moment. We also want to acknowledge that the owner offered to reschedule or provide an alternative cruise the next day, but we understand those options didn’t work for your schedule. Please know that we’ve made every effort to advocate on your behalf and present your request for a refund. Unfortunately, in the absence of official weather warnings or a cancellation initiated by the captain, the owner has chosen to follow their standard policy. That said, we’re not closing the door here. We’ll reconnect with the owner once more to share your feedback and express your continued interest in finding a fair resolution. In the meantime, we also encourage you to reach out to them directly through the platform, as sometimes a personal message can make a difference.
