good concept, bad lock
Well their tech support is responsive but the lock sucks I hate to say. I wanted so much to like it when I saw it advertised but the camera is not great and the doorbell does not work at all when you push the button which by the way is the picture of a telephone with nobody knows is how you ring the doorbell that it’s come to my house they end up just knocking which has all the better because pushing the button does nothing doesn’t ring my phone doesn’t ring the the lock locally. Had to replace the lock already once because it kept jamming now they have offered to send me a second one which I have still yet to receive and they promised they were tested before they sent it to make sure that it rings. I paid for price for the lock and now I see they’re coming out with version two first of the year so if I were you I would wait for the second version maybe it will be better.

I received this request for a review before I received the product I ordered. I may have a different opinion after I receive what I ordered. As of today, I rate the service as poor.

It has some issues with remote control…
It has some issues with remote control of unlocking and using it from the house without being enabled by the doorbell. It also has a big lag time.

It did not fulfill my expectations
Notifications are very slow, for the moment I check the door the person is gone. I have received notifications 5 minutes later I got into the house. The Battery is running down too fast, the two way talking is not clear, you cannot heard each other with clarity. Honestly, I was expecting more from this product since the price was pretty high. I would never recommend it to my friend. Just a normal lock with password code would be ok.

The battery life is not stellar
The battery life is not stellar. I have the motion sensitivity turned off and the battery still only last for about two days. Also sometimes I need to press the lock button twice in order for the door to lock. Therefore I now need to press the lock button and wait to make sure the gate is actually locked which is pretty annoying.
